A well-explained piece, spells out all the nonsense most of us already know (but many men would be wise to read). One thing it overlooks is that the diamond's "value" isn't just in its investment/resale potential. A man buys a rock for his woman to "lock up" her p00ntang long term. Of course we all know that's no guarantee for loyalty and sexual payoff, but that's the main reason a guy buys a ring.
