That article is really something stupid and out of reality, even pc newspaper and their pc articles are far from it.

They fail to see reality while they find any possible way to stress on men faults.

It's not that hard men go with prostitutes because the agreement is clear and linear, she makes and offer and you either accept or try to negotiate then the other way around.

If most of the women are good for sex only and they can afford to deny it,it's no surprise the average man cut them out of the equation and find a substitute.
The time of the warm submissive girl who make you feel like a king are long gone, if you're used to feel like a poor bastard at least do it with an attractive girl who give you sex.

It's like one of those men from caucasus that treat his wife like crap and beat her then complain if she leave with a foreigner that doesnt treat her as a queen but at least feed her and doesnt punch her while drunk.

Legalizing Prostitution in all states WOULD CHANGE THE GAME IMMEDIATELY

Men 18-80 would no longer have to jump through hoops just to get laid..

Women on the other hand would be royally fvcked...end of meal tickets, they would have to bear the consequences of their feminist brainwashing. Payback would be a *****.

LEGALIZED PROSTITUTION is the one cause all men should unite for and demand...even roman soldiers were granted that.

It would certainly cut WAY down on people ending up in bad marriages because they confused "sex" and "love". :p

No, men who buy sex are not disgusting. Prostitution is referred to as "the world's oldest profession" for a reason. It has been around since the dawn of civilization and it will always be there in one form or the others. Prostitutes have at times been considered sacred and at other times derided.

I support the legalization of prostitution from a purely libertarian point of view. It is not illegal to have sex. It is not illegal to sell a service. So why the heck should the sale of sex be illegal? Provided a person engages in prostitution voluntarily, no one has any business telling that not do do it.

Prostitution is a victimless crime. It is a huge waste of money, time and resources to arrest and prosecute those who engage in it and those who buy the services of prostitutes. Obviously, there is victimization involved in sex slavery and human trafficking. We should punish those crimes but not prostitution itself.

Dear All,
Well don't we all buy it?Oscar Wilde pointed that out and also suggested that It's far cheaper from Harlots......As far as Legalising is concerned.....Its been legal here for must be thirty years,in theory you negotiate a deal with the girl, but in reality it's legal....the sky didn't fall in..........Those girls who do not work from home, are restricted to two Industrial Suburbs, and have to have a health checkup every week...a naughty costs about $120 with people who operate from their home charging from about $50.....Our dollar is now on a par with yours,a Tradesman on conditions earns about $700 after his Tax and Super, the same Man gets 1200-1500 without conditions....There are quite a lot of Girls on the game,a close friends brother is just one local Doctor and has 400 Ladies of the night on his register for weekly check ups...Burroughs comments "Men 18-80 would no longer have to jump through hoops just to get laid"..No such luck mate.....One positive aspect is that it serves as an outlet firstly for poor ugly bvggers who would otherwise never get any water off their chest.Secondly for those deviates who otherwise might molest our Wifes and Daughters....I once Refurbished a Knocking Shop, which was an interesting experience...As I did favours for the senior employees,I was frequently offered one on the house....Many of the tradesmen who worked for me would do Foreign orders for the Girls and towards the end of the job productivity did slip....One detraction is that the profession does inevitably encourage hard drug usage....that is the next thing for any sensible State to legalise.

The irony is that laws against prostitution make it HARDER for women to avail themselves of the legal protections they would normally have if they were engaged in legal work.

Also you will find that most people have a really odd, black and white view of what a hooker is, because if you get right down to it the things a lot of women do on a date strongly resemble what a lot of hookers do.

I'm sure there is a spectrum, I've never gone with an Oakland streetwalker or a Frisco escort, but those seem like the end of a spectrum where you might REALLY pay for a servicing.

I have been to Asia a lot, and over there there is a wide spectrum of behaviors to be seen. It goes from girls who are in clubs and are a lot like here, to girls who work in clubs but who can pay their employer for time off to go with you, to massage places and all sorts of stuff.

I never tried the more commercial scene, but if you go to a club, dance with a girl, take her out to some food and shoot some pool, make out a little, and end up back at your room for some consensual fun, is she a *****? If she asks to go to breakfast, is she a *****? If she wants cab fare, what then?

Western women don't want to think that such things make them just like the women they love to label *****s.

What a joke ... This is all a shaming tactic to continue to women controlling sex.

You get in a relationship societal roles make you the breadwinner and you expected to provide so basically a relationship is prostitution except that you can also get saddled with child support and have 1/2 your assests seized.

Sounds like shaming to keep the status quo of the ridiculous commmunity property laws ...

I personally have never had the inclination to buy a lay, but from a public health POV I would support legalization.

Personal morals aside, if it were regulated like it is Down Under and the women had to get weekly health screenings, this would dramatically cut down of communicable diseases in lower socioeconomic classes and discourage back-alley streetwalkers. For the last couple of months I've been interning in the infirmary of the local women's prison, and MOST of the women we see are or were involved in prostitution at some point, and MOST of these women either have some form of hepatitis or syphilis, G/C, etc.

From what I've seen most streetwalkers do it to support their drug habits. For 'higher-class' escorts they probably do it more as a livelihood rather than to put dope in their hands. The drug issue is another discussion, but prostitution is not going anywhere so it makes sense to screen and treat these women and cut down on the public health burden it puts on medicaid and the hospitals who treat the hookers and their clientele and end up eating the costs on a daily basis, which drives it up for everyone else.

Everyone buys sex. Some pay in drinks, some pay in time and attention, some pay in efforts to get rich, famous, etc. Some just pay cash.

The sexual marketplace exists. It follows economic law as well as any market for any good.

You don't pay a prostitute for sex, you pay her to leave.

The men I know who´ve bought sex weren´t disgusting, but they did strike me as a little bit sad.

I dunno, I guess there is something to be said for men having to maintain themselves physically, mentally and hygenicaly (is that a word) in order to get laid, rather than simply reaching into their wallets.

Both of these...

They should legalize and regulate prostitution.

Here is an example of what goes wrong when prostitution is illegal:

CIDG officer rapes 'rescued' raid victim

Saturday, July 16
A woman who was 'rescued' in the recent bar raids under the excuse of 'human trafficking' was freed from jail after being forced to have sex by none other than one of the CIDG officers who 'rescued' her in the raid.

Around 100 staff, including GRO's, managers, waitresses and even 4 tourists were arrested in raids on Golden Nile, Blue Nile, Blue Nile executive, and Cambodia bar in what seems to be a targeted action against the group's owner, Richard Agnew.

The raids were rather unsuccessful as most of the women resisted and escaped arrest by the police officers whilst cursing and screaming at them. The staff who were rescued completely against their will were rounded up and jammed into one bus whilst being humiliated on TV.
As the bus was leaving the premises, one of the ladies pulled the emergency handle with the help of a journalist and another unidentified person who pitied them, triggering the doors to open which allowed most of the ladies to escape the bus, thus further angering the police officers.

4 foreign tourists, including a major potential investor, were unlawfully arrested for no reason and without any warrant of arrest, a serious police offense for which there has been no consequences. The 4 tourists were released within 24 hours, but not before they were threatened to be locked up indefinitely unless they each paid a P50,000 bribe to CIDG police officers.

The bars were allowed to reopen as there was no evidence of human trafficking found. Ironically enough, however, various 'rescued' ladies were still locked up against their will for an unknown period of time.
One of these ladies was singled out by at least one of the CIDG officers and forced her to have sex with him in exchange for her freedom. This was done at a nearby motel.

It is clear that these raids, which in no way helps in addressing human trafficking is clearly politically motivated. And whilst doing so, the police officers demonstrate what human trafficking is, through their own hypocritical actions.

I wouldn't say that all people who hire the services of prostitutes are sad. Perhaps those that buy low end prostitutes are at the bottom of the totem pole but there are also lots of high end escorts who charge thousands of dollars an hour. Most of the men who can afford these kinds of women aren't exactly losers.

Heidi Fleiss ran a big prostitution ring in LA. Her clients included several Hollywood celebrities. Tiger Woods used the services of "escorts" and so did Elliot Spitzer, the former governor of New York. These guys aren't what I'd think of as losers. All of them were very successful and capable of attracting beautiful women.

I liken hiring an escort to buying yourself a meal at a restaurant. If I cared to look up the recipe and put in the effort, I could probably make most of the dishes that I like in my kitchen. But sometimes, I'd rather just pay to have a professional make make it for me and to have it served to me.

It's the same thing with prostitution. Sometimes, guys just want to have sex. Some wouldn't mind paying for the convenience of having it served up rather than having to go out and procure it for themselves. Personally, I don't have enough money to spend on a good escort. But if I did, I probably would hire them from time to time.

+1

Paying for sex does takes away a lot of the bullsh*t men have to go through to get an attractive woman to bed. At the end of the day we pay for it either in time or money (or both).
