Take ms. 48 and put her personality in ms. 25 y.o's body and you have the perfect woman.
There was a lot of factors BEHIND the rejection of ms 48. as you guys pointed out.
Cultural = He's greek. What roles does a woman play in greek cultural? I don't think ms 48 would fit the stereotypical role of a wife of a greek man.
Childrearing = I don't think she would be ideal for kids, if she could have them. With a 48 y.o., there really isn't much time to figure out where things are going, since the clock has nearly run out. With ms 25, he can assess his feelings and know time isn't running out. Plus I got the impression ms 25 really liked him more. Ms 48 was just desperate. Her motivations were to find a guy who wouldn't hurt her, and prove all prior relations wrong; it wasn't motivated from love, entirely.
Age = She was motherly, and had an air or presumption of wisdom. She could talk on level with his mother, but I'd always have that feeling that "she could be my mom", and she could, since that would make her just 18 when having a kid. Watching her talk with everyone, she didn't seem his equal, she seemed his superior. She imparted that same attitude when she spoke to mss 25 on the bench.

After he picked, it was evident 25 would be the choice, but b/c tv catered to making you THINK he'd pick ms 48, you were lead to believe otherwise. A few reasons..
- he can date ms 25 longer w/o marital pressure, or feel time is running out start a family, if she even wanted to or could.
- ms 25 is fresh. yeah, she'll make mistakes, but so will he. their journey through life would be new, clean, and virginal. ms 48 has already BEEN THERE DONE, so what joy is there on a new journey in life if the partner has already been there?
- her whispering of how many times she could *** in a row. to me that says "ive banged alot and for many hours straight." That's ok if she's a club-ho, but not a chick on a reality show who's met your mom. Sex is assumed here, if they hadn't already had it, it would just be hotter and more surprising with Amanda vs Jenn.
- while Amanda seemed shy, we don't know if she was or wasn't. the tv cameras don't portray everything.
- Jenn, ms 48, was overbearing at his mother's house. it's ok to socialize, but it wasn't REALLY a competition. That sort of behavior can turn a guy off, which she probably didn't get. It's different if it's only ONE girl, but acting catty in front of a guy usually results in the more aggressive cat getting cut.
- Amanda just seemed more into him, but again tv does what it does. She was very hot, and didn't appear to be the stereotypical cheerleader. She was beautifully elegant, also.
Call it 20 years, but at best that's a porn flick or fantasy that's fulfilled, and not a long-lasting relationship. Time alone would nul and void the relationship. No real prospect for kids. Short-time line before looks desolve. She's already used up on life credits. She's too motherly, even for me. Condescending. Overbearing. It was a dead-end.
