Action oriented inspirational messages

I am a subscriber to a certain mailing list that I shall not name just now, but perhaps you can even google the content once you see it.

I just want to offer a few tidbits of advice or inspiration from that list. It is slightly religious but only in a sense of "God" wanting you to succeed.

I will begin with one that might strike me or you as the most important one.

It is simply today's message.

Here it comes:

On this day of your life, listener, I believe God wants you to know...

...that remorse is regret that one waited so long to do it.

H.L. Mencken said that, and he was right. Do not, do not,
"put off until tomorrow what you can do today."
And do not think that there is anything that you really want to do
that you cannot do today. There is no reason to wait. None.
Save the reasons that your Mind gives you, none of which are valid,
all of which you are just making up.

Quit it. Stop it. Stop the stopping. Start the starting.
Really. I mean, really. Because you know what?
Days turn into weeks, weeks turn into months, months turn into years
so fast that you will not know what happened.
But you will know what did not happen.
And you will feel true remorse.

So let's avoid that, shall we? Get going.
Go for it.​

Since this new forum has a very nice expanding quote section cq. thing, I will add another one or two:

...that normal is not something to aspire to, it's something to get away from.

Never. Normal is not natural. Extraordinary is natural.
Who do you think you are, anyway...?

What will you do today that is extraordinary? Plan it.
Think it through. And do it. All the angels in heaven are waiting.
And even if you 'fail', it will have been an extraordinary effort.
That qualifies as extraordinary.​
