I've been played and strung on in the past and I am working on it to make it stop, but it's not a cut-off kind of a thing, I'm applying it gradually, and I'm starting to see the positive results. This is a good case to "practice" on, as it's very obvious when I take all of my attention away, what happens. The downside is, that there is no escalation to the positive side, and if I escalate too far into the negative, I start to feel really bad and that's the last thing I want, as I obviously want to put myself first.No, I get that. If it's not you, don't do it.
I just think that if you're not getting the results you want, you either change yourself or life will change you.
