Man alive! Ever since I have started my self-improvement spree I have had chicks popping out of the woodworks and into my direction. The tips on this website are great.
Anyways, back to the point. Today I encountered a rather confusing moment with one of the girls in my writting class this morning. We were all waiting in line to show the professor the mock resumes that we just finished. I was just standing there minding my own buisness, and then this girl that was standing in front of me walks right up to my face and stares at me really funny. Well, I was sort of grumpy because I didn't get enough sleep the night before and I tried ignoring her since it felt really uncomfortable that she was doing that, and after about 15 seconds I looked at her and said "what."
Well, she then says "Are you scared of me?"
I said "No, I am wondering why you are staring at me."
Well, she answered with "You were just staring forewards."
I say "ok" and she goes to her place in line a few people in front of me. Maybe she was just noticing that I looked tired or something I don't know.
After the line slips forwards a guy she was chatting with walks off to go get something, and she whacks me softly and inconspiciously right in the stomach and goes "I'm sorry, I was just streaching and didn't see you."
Well, I actually kept my cool and chose not to answer to the fact that she just slapped me she and didn't say anything. I just looked at her right in the face.
She then says " Are you someone I can put as a refrence on my resume."
Now, I am not entirely sure what that means, but I think that could have been possibly a good thing if I was really in the mood to answer her back like I should have.
I actually asked her "Are you sure you want to do that?"
Well, I didn't get any sort of reaction out of her from saying that and she just looked away without changing her expression.
I am sort of confused at what all these mixed reactions mean.
I know I would have probably would have played this one out a little better if I was in a more cheerful mood, but does anyone have any suggestions on what I could have done right?
