There was a special on A&E a few years ago covering the prostitution issue. They talked a lot about Holland.
I remember them saying that people who normally have no access to potential sexual situations (i.e. shut-ins, handicapped, old men, etc.) would receive these services via gov't funding! I think it was once a month that a hooker would come in and 'service' these unfortunate guys. I wish my tax dollars paid for that kind of service in this country. Good on their gov't for realizing the importance of sexual release for men who normally wouldn't have a chance of getting it otherwise.

Yes, going on a date is basically prostitution to some extent. However, if you go on a date and get sex, you know the woman actually wants to have sex with you. She wants to be there. :yes:
With prostitutes, I'm not so sure..I would imagine that the experience would be more business-like, lack of passion, emotion, etc..all about the money.
I will say this though, the RLD in Amsterdam is an eye opener. Some of those women are absolutely beautiful. It's crazy, and they stand there half naked behind a door enticing you to come over. Just the thought that you could walk up and get sex is very tempting, it makes your knees buckle just thinking about it.

But it's honestly not worth it, financially, unless you have money to burn. You don't want to just pick up a hooker off of 4th street. You want to find QUALITY chicks, and those cost you.
I voted yes and you can't deny a man's need. Yes sex is supposed to be something special and in times of frustations in getting it (i.e. wine n dine the chick and then some) I think it might be worth it to get an escort instead, especially a hot one! I agree with this to the core. Lack of sex is the reason why so many men committ crimes, rape included. The frustration builds and builds and builds, until it overflows. Do you ever see women comitting crimes the way men do? No. Gee, I wonder why. Because sex is available to women on a regular, consistent basis. Attractive and average looking women lead healthy sex lives, men don't(unless you're a DJ).

I think men who are usually angry, aren't getting any sex (I have co-workers like that), but it does not lead to crime.
