What's the true reality about bald guys!!!

I'm getting bald, and that's unfortunately the reality, this girl,a friend of mine and also one that's romantically interested in me told me this: " don't even think about shaving your head, i hate baldies"... so, what is worse, shaving my head completely or continuing on like this. I guess, one or the other are bad... i just wanted to know the true reality, i guess girls hate baldies, and what my friend told me is the proof of what i thought..., sad, but true.

I have never got so much attention and so many looks from girls since I shaved my head down to 4 mm (I do have a bit of a receeding hairline). Of course, this also coincided with me growing a beard which I have also got a lot of positive feedback on. I did shave myself bald (again) at one point a few months ago, but the only one I got feedback from (traveling in the middle of nowhere) was my sister who didn't like it (sent a pic as she wanted to see how I was doing).

I say shave it down as much as you can, but leave some hair on. 3-6 mm will do.

If you want to shave your head go for it, don't let some b1tch dictate your actions, it's your fvckin business, noone elses. She doesn't like "baldies" she can take a fvckin hike.

edit: This is just one girls' opinion, there are others that like the bald look.

I have a perfect head of hair and I am black. I shave it bald once in a while in the summer and usually get positive responses, especially at work where I get the most compliments.

If its something u have never done, then people that know you will notice the difference and make a comment ....chances are they will know why you did it and you wont be able to hide behind 'I wanted to try something new'. If your thinning hair is noticeable, then people will also notice that you have taken it all off.

My advice for shaving heads: dont do it unless you have a nicely shaped head.

I started going bald around 25 and decided to shave my head ( I use a pair of electric clippers without an attachment). does it make me look more attractive? To me it does and thats all that matters. I hated the way I looked with thin/balding hair but love the way I look with a shaved head (so does my current GF). It's a confidence thing.

Shaving your head is not the answer. Women will either perceive you as a thug or someone that is undergoing chemotherapy treatments. Neither are very cool.

Having a shave head actually makes you look more manly(according to a recent poll of women). Females love to rub on a bald head, I should know because I have one.

Just keep it real and cut it off. You look a lot older with thin hairline than you do with a shaved head. Just makes sure you don't have a funny-shaped head.

I've been sporting a bald head for about seven years now and it hasn't hurt my action one bit. Although, I was only getting cow licks, I always promised myself that if my hair even began to recede slightly, I would shave it bald. I lived up to my promise.

You definitely don't want to look like Krusty the clown or one of those guys that takes one piece of hair and wrap it around the bald spot. It makes you look ridiculous.

Just as eyecandy pointed out, if your hair is thinning or receding, then it will make you look much more older.

When I first shaved my head and went around a guy and lady friend, they laughed at me sooooo hard. It didn't matter, I decided that I was keeping it.

Later on that week, the lady friend said "on second thought, it looks sort of sexy on you." My guy friend later agreed that it looked good on me as well as my old barbers.
At one point, I decided to grow my hair back and my girlfriend at the time practically begged me not to.

It just take some getting used to for everyone.

Uhh sorry RacerX your on the wrong track. I've been shaving for about 15 years and since I started I swim in P*ussy. Blonds especially for some unknown reason love bald black men. they love the way our smooth heads feel.

I have been told by multitudes who has seen my pics with hair and without that bald is definetely the in thing.

As far as looking like a thug. Imagine a bald man in a nice suit or Armani clothes and dress shoe's. It' s the clothes that will make you look thuggish. I've worn sean jean jean suits to nice dress suits and when I dress up there is no thug look on me except in my demanor and eyes.

I shave my head, of course it was going anyway... the younger hipper better looking chics dig it... and that's what i'm after. Some girls i've talked to have said oh god don't shave your head, but i said listen i'll shave any damn thing i want....

Some girls say oh god i hate blonde men.... i hate grey hair... god i hate bald men. So really.... who gives a ****. I don't have any problems with the women.... and besides two bald heads are better than one, if ya know what i'm sayin.....

I've got that Ed Harris (the actor) look. Thin and I keep it short. I never thought I looked like him until my girl friend mentioned it. Now I like my hair all "nubbed" off...

I went through it in my 20's. Now I'm living large with it. And I'm more successful now than every before...but I'm black so it looks good on us..

No. Not every white guy, or even every black guy, looks good with a bald head.

Or for that matter, with any hairstyle.

You all have an ideal hairstyle that suits your face shape. This will make you more attractive.

People who look good with a shaved head are those with a good "strong" skull/bone structure, naturally, but the vast majority need to use hair to diminish/emphasize certain things.

I grew up with very short cropped hair, then grew it quite long, then back to cropped. Neither option made me very desirable to the ladies. I couldnt pull for s-hit.

But now I have a style that makes me good looking, because it covers up the "sloping sides" of my head.

I actually look like a different person, and I can certainly get my share of ladies these days.

So Sayajin_Prince, heres hoping you havent got a head like mine.
