Yes it would be very much AFC if you were just changing yourself to appease your special lady, but changing and growing for yourself is a totally different story. that's what a DJ does, he is constantly growing and changing. But he doesn't do it to get the approval of some female, he does it simply to better himself.

That's cool but the OP is thinking of quitting video gaming to please his lady. He should play all the dam video games he wants until he really finds another hobby that he can have fun doing, rather than trying to achieve some stereotype James Bond DJ image.
