If any of you have seen the spiderman movie you know what im talking about.
The scene where he wakes up the next day after being bit and hes hella ripped.

Well I heard that he was able to attain that build from a rough 6 month training/diet regimine.

I'd be interested in finding out some of the techniques he used to do that.
He has the type of build there I'm looking for...

any takes or comments on this?

Training, diet and a healthy dose of Winstrol. Maybe some Clenbuterol 2-3 weeks before the shoot.

He wasn't that big. You remember the camera adds 10 lbs. He was ripped though.

He is also a vegetarian, so he probably has a fairly low calorie diet.

are you guys fukkin' kidding me??

he weighed 140 pounds in that shot.. he's hella "scrawny".. he had negative muscle mass, and only some ab definition to boot.

if it took him 6 months to get that way.. he either has garbage genetics or his trainer really sucks. Probably both.

It's OK for Tobey to take roids to do the movie. After all, would you take roids for a couple million dollars and plenty of fame... not to mention all the sex...?

I seriously doubt Tobey Maguire took drugs for that movie. If he did, then he REALLY HAS ****TY GENETICS.

Brad Pitt took Winstrol to lean out for "Fight Club" look at the difference b/w the two.. it's night and day.

Not to sidetrack the thread, but I rented Spiderman last weekend and I thought it sucked hard. Talk about your cookie-cutter cardboard-cutout summer blockbuster-type pic. What do people see in that Dunst woman? I hope Willem Dafoe made fistfuls of money for enduring being in that embarassment.

Drifter, I suggest you check out the December Men's Health, there's an article about this exact topic.

It basically says that he used the key components of martial arts, gymnastics, yoga, and alot of size building supersets (pairs of resistance exercises performed without rest) which included:

Lat Pull Downs: 1 Set of 6 Reps followed immediatly by...

Standing Pullover: 1 Set of 8-12 Reps, Resting for a minute, than moving imediately to ...

Squat: 1 Set of 6-8 Reps, followed imediately by...

Lunge: 1 Set of 8-10 Reps

For more info about his routine go to www.holisticfitness.com

Hope this helps
