History often does repeat itself. Seems like the Russians have no respect for their troops either and treat them like cannon fodder.

In the Winter War, the Russians didn't give their troops winter clothing since they thought it would be a quick victory; those olive drab uniforms made easy targets against the snowy Finnish landscape. They also sent mechanized units through the thick Finnish forest only to be slaughtered.

Look at the two pictures; sight looks eerily similar.

I thought of the same thing weeks ago. Something you have to understand about Russia is that their logistics system is terrible in any war. It's a combination of the geography, climate, and culture that has a lot to do with it.

Ukrainan propaganda setups. Right now, Ukraine isnt trying to fight them but instead market to the world "Hey, isnt this a bad thing?" So they're acting like your typical schemer with placing tactical points next to civilian areas, a tactic that should be far more shamed globally than what all the news keep saying about "Russia doing this and that." Yeah, that hospital got hit. Ukraine purposefully put their military next to it! Which is the opposite of what someone trying to win a fight would do.

I still find it amazing that people are assuming Russia's losing (Ukraine itself is proving otherwise) because they haven't taken the entire country yet. "Ermagerd, Russians are retarded. They haven't taken over a country the size of Texas with 50 million people in less than a month".

It took America, 177k troops, a month long aerial bombing campaign and three weeks to reach Baghdad. Iraq is much smaller, less populated, with virtually no modern equipment and poor training outside the RG (which were slightly better).

Yes, the thousands of ATGMs and MANPADS are bumping up Ukrainian efficacy (likely one of the only reason they haven't been completely steamrolled), they're still losing. No matter how much western media says they've killed a million billion Russians, tanks, etc, doesn't make it so.

Even the Pentagon is starting to take shots at this ridiculously optimistic narrative Ukraine and our media have spun out.

In a few months we will all find out the truth. The sad truth is Russia has covertly been destroying America for decades. They knew they could not win by force...so for generations they engaged in the long game in an effort to destroy this county from within. The communist influence on both ends of the political spectrum is strong. Russia has infiltrated our schools, media, politics, business and entertainment.
