My coworker was reading this today, sent it to me. I thought it was great. Of course anytime you have Alec Baldwin's scene from Glenngary Glenn Ross, you really can't go wrong can you?
Edit:
(Alec Baldwin made me get off my ass and finally finish my Prelim Exam talk. )

The information in each issue of The SoSuave Newsletter is too powerful for most guys to handle. If you are an ordinary guy, it is not for you. It is meant for the elite few. Not the unwashed masses.

But if you're just an average Joe, an ordinary guy, no one special – then skip this. It is not for you.
I was telling him why do people buy nice cars with rims on it, your the one driving the car so you cant see the car from the inside and you cant see the rims, so it make you think are you driving that car and showing off to other people
would you buy that car if it was only two other people in the same town you lived in

I have to wonder, though - does/should this advice apply to men only ?
The author sure seems to spend a lot of time talking about lonely guys. Probably no coincidence that the legendary scene from Glengarry Glenn Ross (and almost the entire movie) doesn't have any female characters.
Would any of you give similar advice to lonely women ? Probably not, we'd probably tell them to lose some weight or get cosmetic surgery. Women who are unhappy in their relationships or who can't be on their own ? They might benefit from this.
I'm going to screen mine going forward, make sure they did something worthwhile in the past year. Author's right - why would you want someone who's got nothing of substance to offer ?

"But I'm not good at anything!" Well, I have good news -- throw enough hours of repetition at it and you can get sort of good at anything. I was the world's ****tiest writer when I was an infant. I was only slightly better at 25. But while I was failing miserably at my career, I wrote in my spare time for eight straight years, an article a week, before I ever made real money off it. It took 13 years for me to get good enough to make the New York Times best-seller list. It took me probably 20,000 hours of practice to sand the edges off my sucking.
Don't like the prospect of pouring all of that time into a skill? Well, I have good news and bad news. The good news is that the sheer act of practicing will help you come out of your shell -- I got through years of tedious office work because I knew that I was learning a unique skill on the side. People quit because it takes too long to see results, because they can't figure out that the process is the result.
This basically what I tell people who crap all over pickup. They see the training stuff and think that's what people should rely on missing the forest for the trees that it's just a short-term fix to get guys experience and develop their confidence. The long-term goal is self-improvement through repetition, experience, and BECOMING a more attractive guy. it's not about getting girls, it's about becoming a guy women find attractive.

Before we get too carried away, the following articles were also written by David Wong - not that it diminishes his observations in the aforementioned article.
Can't say I'm the biggest fan of the MRM, I'm not sure I even count myself among their number, but Wong does his best to misunderstand, misrepresent, and malign the movement.
