Legs are the most resilient muscle to work on, you cannot approach them the same way you approach the rest of your body
I genuinely disagree with this statement.
Very generally speaking, the figure most give is 20 sets a muscle at working weight per week.
I train not more than 8 sets per muscle, per week and have gotten fantastic results off 2-4 sets per muscle per week. 20 per week is junk volume; you need to train with higher intensity (closer proximity to failure) if this is you.

Time under tension is also great
TUT does almost nothing for muscle gain. The single biggest factor to muscle growth is mechanical tension (heavier weight), ideally trained within the 6-12 rep range.

Careful trusting Renaissance Periodization. They train their elites to failure, yet their training program continues to push keeping reps in reserve. I wonder why that is..?
^Because training to failure is the most beneficial form of training. The last 5 reps to failure are the most beneficial, but with increasing benefit the closer the muscle is trained to failure

The below video is one you should trust more than Mike Israetel (who I love, but cannot recommend as a training coach).

If time under tension leads to failure how can training to failure with heavier weight be any different if your ending up at failure regardless? furthermore lifting heavy post injury is just dumb.

Working 20 sets depends on your Rep range, obviously if your working higher sets you have lower reps thus heavier weight so you've already contradicted yourself in a single post, not much more needs to be said.

Grams of steroids by your own admission has done a lot of the work. Let's be real bro.

Yes you have to be on top of things but it gives you huge margins for error others don't have and it completely overrides the body's normal rate limiting of muscle synthesis which caps the potential growth of a person who isn't using them at a far far lower amount per month, all while selectively increasing insulin sensitivity hugely in favor of muscle growth and lowers it in relation to fat storage.

I've never done grams of steroids in my life, nor have I said that I have. I did one blast at 100 test 600 deca and ended it 8 weeks in because of mental sides. I can show you before/after pictures and they look the same. For real bro.

I'm on TRT at 105mg/wk and built 95% of my physique while still natty (with TT at 329 and Ft at 7.0, at 27 years old), following the advice I laid out above.

So please tell me more about how my advice does not apply to natties.
You can blame the gear if you want, but the truth is that I have 15 years of lifting (more than half my life) behind that. Strangely, everyone ignores the time in the game aspect.
