I mentioned in another thread that my balding started getting worse within the past 5 years. I got away with shaving my head with the lowest clipper size but now I have to shave it completely down with a razor. My hair looked great with the lowest clipper size until i started to bald more. I hate shaving down to the skin. I think it looks weird. I dont feel confident with women at all when I shave it all the way down. I have sebbheroic dermatitis so theres red spots alot of times and they show more if I shave it all the way down. What options do I have at this point?

A wig?

Maybe you can treat the red spots. Talk to a specialist.

As for the baldness, nothing you can do about that dude.

I am pretty much 70% bald myself, however I lift weights, thick neck, in good muscular shape, and can get away with baldness.

In-fact been told it suits me, and I would not look right with hair.

I get around 8-12 matches daily on Bumble even as a baldy.

Do you shave your head down to the skin?

I have heavy beard growth, but I started balding when I was in my mid twenties, so I shaved my head. Maintenance was mostly using clippers without attachements and nowadays I mainly use an electric razor with three heads. And I always shower after shaving my head, whether it's with clippers/electric/blade.

I have sebbheroic dermatitis so theres red spots alot of times and they show more if I shave it all the way down.
See a skincare specialist about medication.

And check out different shaving soaps and oils and stuff to find the skincare products that best suit your skin.

I geuss Andrew Tate did men a favor by being bald by choice...when he was arrested he debunked the myth that he was actually balding. So bald by choice it is.

Lets get one thing clear: even here we say that those socalled "toptier men" are mem who ,like 20 years ago before OLD ,were deemed as faghotz/ghey/ feminine men. Suddenly a man needed to be "model tier pretty, which 99/100 means having mostly feminine traits.

Balding is BY FAR an exclusively male trait. You might have to get used to your new look..And yet , if you want to fight it there are multiple ways how to do this .

There's no right or wrong. You simply gotta find a way to feel comfortable with whatever decision you'll make.

I find growing a beard, and keeping it will groomed & shaped does help with the bald look.

It's surprising how many chicks will go for a bald man, however being in shape and bald is what some chicks will go for.

I traditionally throughout most of my life had longer, curly hair that I wore differently throughout my 20s and early 30s. About five years ago, I began to notice some thinning on the very back of my head in the usual spots. For whatever reason, this really started to speed up about 2 years ago, and even more significantly within the last year. If I wore my hair like I used to, it still grows pretty fully right in the front but I have a fairly noticeable balding area on the top of my head and I can't stand the way it looks. I tried one of the hair regrowth treatments for 7 months a little over a year ago and didn't notice much of any change and gave up on it.

At this point, I have basically resigned myself that I am going to be doing what you are doing eventually. I have gone to getting it pretty close to a buzz cut each week now. It looks good for a week but the balding really stands out if I let it grow much more than 2 weeks - so I am in the frequent haircut stage. However, I am coming to terms with sporting the bald look.

Here is the bottom line as it relates to women: most women don't care if you are taking care of yourself otherwise. If you have your sh1t together, are in good shape, and have some game you are still going to do well being bald. I would get the dry skin you have under control because that is something that could be a turn off. Definitely go see a doctor if standard OTC treatments aren't cutting it. But simply not having a lot of hair is not going to be an impediment to getting women.

I disagree, in the sense that, apart from keeping your hair short or shaved, all the other options like hair plugs, hair growth lotions, wigs or hairpieces all reek of desperation.
If you get bald, own it. Apparently you were supposed to become bald, so just be done with it and focus on other things.

Back in my days, Andre Agassi, the tennis player, shaved his head after male pattern baldness set in, and women were falling over each other to compliment his 'new look'.
When I started to shave my head, the naked scalp looked weird and pale, but a week of walking in the open air and my scalp got some colour and didn't look like I had chemo. I've been shaving for so long now that I don't even think about it. Women in general love being able to kiss my bald dome and they often enjoy shaving my head.

A goatee or beard tends to balance out the baldness on top.

I prefer a full beard over the goatee.

Not like one of those big bushy things haha, prefer short and well trimmed.

Not everyone can grow, and mentaine a nice beared though.

It doesn't really matter if a man is desperate or not. Hair regrowth is a real thing, and if a man feels comfortable doing that he's missing out by NOT doing it. From that POV the gym, a nice car amd clothes ect all "reeks of desperation ".

Yes, you have a point. Own whatever got and whoever you are . But we can't all n)be @AmsterdamAssassin ;)

No, we had that discussion already, in the cosmetic surgery for men thread.
Grooming, gym, having a nice car is all fine.
Cosmetic surgery and other desperate attempts to rejuvenate your appearance are signs of desperation.

Nope, he’s a sexy beast.
Still not going to date you, Pierce the Manhammer. ;)

I TEND to agree with you, and I do have to say you are ..probably right.

Yet...I can't deny the fact that every man gets 1 life. How he spends his time on earth is yp to him. If you have the money and means to : buy some time " then hey..go ahead. Yhe best example imo is Elon Musk, who went from a balding man in i think his 30 s to the man we all know today.

Again, our days are numbered anyway.

Yes, and Sean Connery wore a hair piece in pretty much all James Bond movies.

My choice to shave and not trying to hold on to my hair was also a decision I made decades ago. I'm not up-to-date with all the possibilities for covering hairless scalps, but in my experience women tend to view men who get wigs/pieces/plugs as being 'desperate' and 'needy'. And I tend to agree with that assessment.

Baldness is an attribute that can be overcome if there are high values in the other attributes. However, baldness and a low score in one other major attribute such as height means ... it's OVER.

Only if you view it as such. There are enough bald men who would look less attractive with hair.

Treat the dermititis. Should be far easier without hair getting in the way of the topical treatments you can use.

This is why @Mike32ct is well known for his Big 3 of height, hair, and money.

When a man lacks hair, having better than average height and/or money will help. Big muscles/fitness help as well.
