What if you got married, because you love each other, want to grow together and form a family, and you are against what society is pushing? I mean get married and you can't expect companionship and sex? It SHOULD be a GIVEN, but we know in the reality in our culture, it doesn't work that way a lot of the time.
You don't buy a ranch, just because you're hankering for a steak. You buy the ranch because you wanna raise cattle...and you better love steak, too!

Quoted from Dash Riprock-
"Plus, some of her personality traits were a real turnoff. She was more of a prude and not a s*lut, but she thought she was ALWAYS right and her way was ALWAYS best, etc. She was also independent (which is good), but she over did it and had a feminist flare to her. Had separate rooms (her idea)".

I understand, this kind of thing can do it. This happened in my first marriage We were 19 when we met, divorced @ 23...she seemed to take her own Red Pill. Again, her work friends were a factor. They all cheated.

'work friends' ....such an influential social circle because your income; your indirect food and shelter source(money earned at work buys groceries and pays for roof over your head) comes from aligning yourself with your "work friends'" values. I read one time in a city newspaper in an article on divorce that divorce can be like dominoes in a workplace. You'll see one person gets divorced, then multiple others in the workplace follow with their own divorces within the next few years.

I was trying to understand the motivator behind glass' exwife.

I guess I am always hard to find the motivation behind people's actions hey? Its like I can't understand (read: I can't accept)why they did something horrifying(divorce) if I don't know their motivation for doing so

On the work friends or associates. Must we do everything they do and seek their approval? We are there to work, right? Or is it to be best friends? Should they be in our personal matters? Should we be following and doing what they do if they are in risky situations betraying their wife? Does and should it affect our ability to be competant on our jobs? Should it have anything to do with job advancement?

I agree. Great attitude.

Years ago I was recommended the book by Daniel Goleman on EQ.
Still doesn't mean you have to socialise with coworkers. There is a funny facial expression meme that sums it up. I'll try to find it on the internet.

When i was young i was "best friends" with em or thought so and they gather dirt. Steer your life a bit since your suggestible. As an older im guarded don't need their approval but attempt to lightly connect to make working a better environment. But i know that any one of them can monitor me for a management level above me. So i never fully trust them. They don't pay my checks. I communicate often with management. So they are aware of my position and I'm ensuring im executing as they need me to be.

Lol on the image. I got the overly analyzed viewpoint of the "work wife" "work husband" game so many people like to play. And how even if it never goes physical it fvcks up emotiinal connections in the marriage.
awww, well, you know what would fix all this?

get out.
retire early.
Seriously, streamlined and minimalist living, passive income generating life.
It means accepting less of a lifestyle though.
Maybe not.
Depends how lucrative your passive income turns out to be.

Some people love the tension, the stimuli, the drama and people-problems to solve though. They love the hated interactions, lol

They love to solve the problems, or they love to create the problems? See it's usually all fun and games until your spouse starts doing it back to you. Now if you have a stronger connection to you "co worker" ( who is NOT your best friend ) than your wife, you don't think that's a major problem?

Sure, but that advice is primarily aimed at young men. I acknowledge that's not always possible, and that men and women have different timetables, and different motivations in getting married.

Fathering children outside of marriage, and at too young an age, can be an almost life ending disaster for a man. By maintaining certain principles, like "no shacking up outside of marriage," a man can avoid getting locked into a relationship of attrition. By avoiding fathering children outside of marriage, a man can wait until he has more resources, wisdom, and time to offer a family, and be more selective about whom he chooses to mother his children, and can consolidate all of his children under one roof, where he is the dominant figure, instead of just a semi-anonymous name on a few scattered birth certificates.

The idea is to produce a family on purpose, instead of just abandoning them, by default, like a hapless Johnny Appleseed.

I agree but platespinners rarely talk about birth control.
Its weird.
Like they don't see the connection between pump & dump and single mothers in society.
(clarify: not all pump & dumpers are platespinners or should I say not all platespinners are pump & dumpers...doesn't matter...just....what are they doing to ensure they don't create single motherhood in society?)
Further clarify: I believe platespinning is effective to remain a dominant man that can't be hoodwinked by malicious women or even women that merely don't help or defend men to survive in the predominantly gynecentric world in 2020.

Is this too inflammatory to question?

Apparently, in general, not much is being done to protect against unwed motherhood, sadly.

oh well.

Better them than me.

Its hard to sit down and talk with women like this.
I like communicating overtly, not covertly.

Women covert themselves out of important ideologies.

They don't see the immense lifesaving value of developing the skills to communicate with men.

Men are fascinating and smart and benevolent, kind and ruthlessly honest when you yourself are honest.
