Those below 35 don't understand hard work and you just don't get whatever you want.
I was poor as f8ck in my youth, like most of the people that I encountered from different countries ( younger, same age or older )

Have a good American friend ( he is 42 or 43) that told me that his parents could not afford to pay the tuition for university so he had to go a couple of years in the military so he can afford going to uni

Also for people who complain about the uni being expensive, join the military s couple of years ( if you are in America - in Europe is free or close to that - ) . There are always ways to achieve what you want, just that sometimes you have to take a detour

Sure. But the point I've been making is that the game is getting harder and harder every year and the rewards are less and less fulfilling. That's why young men are staying single and giving up on dating. All of the housing and tax stuff was just an example of how the difficulty of another basic expectation grinds away at men's will to continue participating. I've also complained in other threads about how the tech industry has already burned me out and I still don't have the job security I was promised years ago.

We've passed the limit on what the average man is willing to put up with and how much effort he's willing to go through for it.

Sure, you can still take an "every man for himself" approach and keep competing until you yourself get a house, woman, and stable work. But that doesn't solve any problems because the problems are collective, not individualist. ie. I myself am not single, but I still don't want to live in an unhealthy society where this many men have given up.

History begs to disagree with your narrative

It was always like this, everyone for himself

Why the narrative would change now, because you think that is not fair?

You are living the best times that this world ever gave to men kind ( sure, with its problems ) . Embrace it, as by the looks of it there are grim times ahead of us ( most likely total war )

If you think that now is not fair, I am curious to see how you will feel with your rifle in your hands while bombs are exploding everywhere

But hey, if this happens at least women will bang guys left and right. They sure do like servicing guys that are servicing their country

This is the complete antithesis of everything that is true.

Capital-H-history is my narrative. A medieval peasant worked 4 months out of the year and had the rest of the time to himself. Clans were the standard family unit. Nobles and feudal lords ensured that everyone who works under them gets a home and protection from crime. They ate dinner together every day. Even in modern times, just 100 years ago everyone knew their neighbors by name. When problems occurred, all neighbors could would come out to restore the harmony. Marriages were semi-arranged until the mid 20th century, where the grandmothers would play matchmaker for their grandchildren, usually pairing men and women with a 10 year age gap for stability and creation of a large family.

All of this was collective. Individualism as a philosophy started with sigmund freud and his lesbian daughter anna's PR industry in 1920's America. The goal was to use the newly created mass media industry to promote individualism because they believed that by atomizing groups into individuals you would get a more compliant and tamer consumer base to advertise to. The individualism we're familiar with today was still a novel paradigm, later fine tuned through economics by Murray Rothbard and the Cato institute. Since 1960's onward, individualism was paraded as "liberation" (in reality: liberation from the judgement and expectations of others, ie. being your own person and focusing on just your own interests).

It was not "always like this" Do you know what the before times were like? We're living as outliers to capital-H-history, not as a continuation of it (Francis Fukuyama's End of History). What we call common "centrist" views today are completely off the charts extreme (eg. atheists believing that most of human history was wrong for believing in divinity).

Apparently so many people checking out of society, that many teenagers contemplating suicide, a complete loss of meaning within an identity crisis, and radical instability is a sign of the greatest times in history. Because what? More efficient technology? What insanity.

Have you actually read history?

There were total war in the period that you mentioned to start with

If the plague did not kill you ( till like 100 years ago you were dying even of something considered nowadays mild like flu as there was no treatment available yet ) , or the Catholic Church did not burn you for being a heretic, for sure you would have died fighting one of the endless wars that were happening

Not to mention that till like 200 years ago peasants had no rights. They literally were slaves on the domain of the noble, which they were not allowed to leave

What do you think happened when on one hand the kingdoms/nations were always needing money to wage the wars they were having, and on the another you had all these people that had no rights? For sure not working only 4 months a year and in the rest chilling and discussing philosophy or politics

Even 200 years ago, after the “emancipation” of the peasant, you had child
Laborers in factories ( as little as 4 years old ). Quite sure that the families were doing so well that they decided to send their 4 years children to factories doing dangerous tasks just for the sake of giving them a lesson about independence

In those days if you were not born in a noble family, you would have been f8cked

And yeah, common people besides the muscle they never really contributed with anything else to the story of civilization. Glorifying the common people besides being obedient has nothing to do with history. Is bullsh1t propaganda, just like feminism

I would be glad if out of this you would read a book about the history of civilization, but I am quite sure that it will not be the case. In case of a surprise though I recommend you the Will Durant series :)

Nope, this is all very correlated with the average 22 year old having the testosterone levels of a 70 year old from the 1960s.

Testosterone has a HUGE effect on many things not just muscle building. It's what gives you your "male essence". It's a huge part of confidence, self-assurance, ambition, drive, aggressiveness in a good way most times, etc.

The reason they are struggling is because they are not exuding any "maleness" or exuding feminine energy. That's just facts. You can accept that or not, but that's the honest truth.
Maybe it's that the body modulates the level of testosterone to meet the times. In times of war and social collapse - which always results in an oversupply of women, and thus women looking at getting a man as the opt motivator in life - testosterone is high so that the weary men are still interest in sex, whereas in times of peaceful, lush plenty, such testosterone results in male infighting.

I like how the 20 year-old "old maid" complains that she always gets matched with old, BALD men.

Will you please stop with "You know nothing about ___" then blowing off every point I address and just winging your own version of whatever it is? No one buys it.

Other people may have perspectives that differ than yours. Just because other people and cultures are alien to you doesn't mean that they're wrong or bad. The reason other people's account of history can be different than yours is because they don't just passively absorb it through Hollywood, whatever Audible is pushing at the time, and funny Youtube channels. And they might not project trendy ideologies onto the past as much as you do.

Here is a full history of the world according to you. It's just the exact same story you hear dictated by the powers that be and then repeated by everyone they deem "experts." You and millions of others know nothing except for this, because to know anything else requires one to first grow up and leave the reservation.

Chapter 1: The Past is Bad
Back then, there was nothing but death, war, and disease! (boo!) Nothing happened for 1,000 years except bad things, and everyone hated it! (boo!) The church was evil and corrupt! (BOO!) No one believed in the King, no one believed in the Church, everyone was just brainwashed sheep! (BOO!) The people were just itching for democracy and rights but the greedy powers that be kept them down! (boo!)

Chapter 2: Progress is Good

Then, the people were enlightened and science started! (YAY!) People learned that violence is bad! (yay!) But everyone was still oppressed and miserable by tyrannical kings and their big egos because they couldn't be the career they wanted to be (boo!) Everyone kept dying because of the lack of technology and science! (boo!) But then, human rights emerged and the people had the power! (YAY!) There was chaos in the beginning, but the good guys won! (that's us! :D) (YAY!)

Chapter 3: Colonization is Bad
But, colonization happened... (boo!!!) The colonists falsely claimed they helped natives build civil infrastructure, build sewage and running water, build railroads, modernize, build education programs, and build other first world creations that would have otherwise never been created. But it was just so they can exploit them and nothing more! (BOO!!!) They did human rights violations! (boo!) So we stopped, and now we're sorry. We ourselves don't need to give anyone anything because we are self aware of the problems it caused, and that makes us the good guys :D (YAY!!!)

Chapter 4: Our Democracy is Good
But... social classes were still around. (BOO!) And there was still inequality >:/ (BOO!) But then...liberal democracy! (YAY!). Everyone was transformed from their primitive, backwards, stupid, oppressed, useless, empty, delusional, miserable, lives of servitude to be free to do whatever they wanted and choose the leaders they were happy with! (YAY!!!) It was great, but later down the line greedy capitalists would ruin it by using money to corrupt Our Democracy (BOO!) And bigoted Christians even began using it to force other people into believing their own dogma and bigotry (BOO!!!)

Chapter 5: Antifascism is Good
Despite Progress, there was still racism and sexism from the white man (BOO!!!). Then, slavery was outlawed; the good guys won! (that's us! :D) (YAY!) Women's rights came and allowed women to finally be liberated from getting oppressed by violent men for thousands of years! (YAY!!!) Then Nazis rose to power! >:/ >:/ >:/ (BOO!!! BOO!!! BOO!!!) They were sore losers from WWI and had inflation, but the good guys won! (that's us! :D) (YAY!)

Chapter 6: The World was Baptized in 1945 (History Starts Here)
1950's! (BOO!) Self expression, neoliberal individualism, and happiness! (yay!!!) Conformity (boo!) Technology! (YAY!) Consumerism! (BOO!) The Beetles (yay!!) And then, came...the Civil. Rights. Movement. :O :O :O (YAY!!!! OMG OMG YAY!!!) But, angry white supremacists in flyover country weren't sophisticated enough to accept it (boo!!!) They were fascism! Never. Again.(BOO!!! BOO!!!) We broke free from our square, old fashioned Christian values and finally became our own person! (yay!!!) People became consumers and the corporations exploited the people by getting them to buy products. They got rich and we starved! (BOO!!!!) Police brutality was rampant, they killed people just because they were black! (BOO!!!) In the end, the good guys won! (that's us! :D) (YAY!!!) Then, computers democratized Humanity! (YAY)

Chapter 7: History is Written by the Winners
History is Darwinian. Things will keep getting better and better! (yay!) The good guys always win (that's us! :D) (YAY!) This is the best time period because it's the current year! (yay!) Our technology is so efficient that no one experiences real hardship anymore (yay!) And look at how much better Africa is doing after all of our humanitarian aid. It now has civil infrastructure built, sewage and running water built, railroads built, modernization, education programs, and other first world creations that would have otherwise never been built due to colonization! (YAY!) But we still have a long way to go!
There you go. Now everyone discussing history can just copy and paste that instead of inviting extra people to the conversation.

I'm finished with this. Please tell me I'm wrong, dumb, and have no life because I cared to type a long message. Don't forget to point out a spelling error or a minute logical inconsistency before you call me a fascist, Nazi, or whatever slur you think holds the most attacking power.

Ok? We're good now?
Great. Why don't you go watch some Lock Picking Lawyer. Here, I even made a hyperlink for you. Enjoy

It’s ok man, you can go to the shrink and tell him that you are in a depression and that everything is hopeless. He will prescribe you anti depressives and everything will be ok after that

Best of luck
