I had a small spurt of Erectile Dysfunction and the following things that caused it.

1)Alcohol Consumption. it's ok to have a few drinks here and there however over time, it can really fvck up your sex drive. It also plummets your testosterone.

2) High stress and the higher cortisol that comes with it. This would signify that you need rest and let your body relax and lower your stress levels.

How you can correct it:

1)Diet - If anything, I would recommend a Ketogenic diet with Meats, eggs and avocados. These 3 foods can have a powerful positive impact on your libido.

2)Weight Training - This is a crucial part because muscle hardens you up and helps shred some fat which will increase testosterone.

3)Supplementation - Something that gets your nuts filling up and will increase your desire to want to fvck. Something like Semenax, Ginseng, Maca Root and/or horny goat weed.

4)Pharma Supplementation (If you're able to get it) - Low daily dosage of Tadalafil (2mg - 5mg) This will increase your desire to want to fvck and have some steel like erections over the course of a few days. You must not have any cardiovascular or heart issues though so you'd have to check with your doctor.

5)No Jerking off - This gives your sexual system a chance to chill out and recharge and you should only be blowing loads all over a chick or a few chicks. The visual and actual act of orgasming with a Woman will give off different signals in the brain that are more desirable and increase your natural sexual desire.

So we had another guy here whose wife went thru menopause. Along with it went her sexual desire. She didnt try any work arounds to please him. She couldve easily had her hormone levels adjusted to continue having sex and did not. The member suffered and ended up leaving. Getting your test up to a moderate level wont hurt you and your life will be improved.
Yep there's really no downside in trying to get your levels adjusted, however I'm more of a natural guy so I suggest doing the things suggested by In2theGame above. I'd add adequate sleep to the mix too. Deep sleep. This helps so many things on so many levels. And the more in shape you are, the better your sleep.

If you stay natural you can keep test levels up:
1. Keep body fat at or less than 10%. Fat converts test to estrogen.
2. Lift. Squats and deads jack test up
3. Diet. Enough meats. Nuts and fats
4. Lifestyle. Do manly things such as watch football. Hunt. Fish.
5. Never let your wife dominate you. It literally hands your balls. Lower your test. And kills any desire she had for you.

The other thing is, what happened to natural ageing? I’d rather just stop having sex than have to jack up testosterone.

Perhaps I’d feel different at 50, but at 50 I’m likely to be very much tied up with being a dad rather than being a stud. In my 30s now sex has gone from my no 1 concern to no 4 or 5 . I honestly don’t care if my drive diminishes. It’s what happens when you get older.

Perhaps if no side effects I’d give it a try, just seems a little OTT to start mainlining androgens.

It’s why I never took steroids when I was lifting a lot, am I really going to screw with my endocrine system for a crumb of female attention? Steroid abusers to me seem like the male equivalent of bimbos getting tit jobs etc.

Perhaps if I got divorced and wanted a new partner.....I’d possibly need some T as you can’t really have a new relationship with no drive...but if I’m still with my wife and at 50 my drive is quite low compared to now, I’d just expect her to accept I’m getting old, like she is no longer the hot 20 something she was, and gracefully age and accept youth is a memory, not something to cling on to.
Good luck with that hopeful thinking. D*ck, good d*ck... keeps women happy and not b*tchy. There are little to no side effects if you’re using a replacement dose. Anywhere from 140-200mgs a week is fine. Once you pass 250-300mgs you’re basically on steroids. Although there have been studies proving that anything up to 600mgs a week is safe. But that’s an insane amount. Doctors are legally allowed to prescribe up to 400mgs a week. I take 200. Does is split 100 twice a week to keep blood levels stable. Not only have I not had any side effects at all, but my health markers have all improved. C-reactive protein (total body inflammation) dropped, significantly. Fasted insulin and fasted glucose levels dropped (better glucose metabolism thus preventing type 2 diabetes). The list goes on and on. I’m 31. My only regret is not starting sooner. Starting looking into it when I was 28. Taught myself the entire endocrine system and the way it works... studying a little every day for about 2 years. Had to, since most doctors have no idea how hormones work and I wasn’t going to leave my health up to speculation and guessing. A lot of doctors have that god complex. Anyway I finally took the plunge (pun intended) when I was 30.

HCG every other day to keep the testicles going in case u ever want to come off (pituitary turns back on right away but the testicles usually take a while if you let them atrophy). Plus it mimics LH so it fills all the LH receptors which wouldnt happen if you were just taking test alone. No more belly. Better sex drive. Better brain. More drive/ambition. Etc etc.

There’s phytoestrogens in our food, plastic, and drinking water. Thus causing our test levels to drop sooner than they should. You can age well or poorly. The choice is yours. I chose the former. Everyone’s different. You may not need it. I did. Before I was moody, irritable, and quite frankly kind of a d*ck. Now that I’ve been on... I’m better (and healthier) all around.

But regardless of all this, my only point was that her guy is doing it wrong if he’s taking an injection every 2 weeks. His doctor doesn’t know what he’s doing.

Oh, one last thing... other people here have mentioned raising it naturally. Some of the things mentioned really do work. I’ve been lifting since I was a teenager. And I tried all the natural ways first. Gave me maybe an extra 50-100 points. Clinical benefits don’t really start until you’re at 800. My natural levels were 324 at first (when I first checked at 29 years old). Then I raised em to 400 naturally. Tried a little harder and got em to 410. That was about it. But my FREE testosterone (the stuff your body actually uses) stayed at the very low end of the spectrum. 9.1. Scale is 9-28.

A lot of this has to do with stress, where you live, etc etc.

You’re on test at 30?

You live somewhere where doctors are making money off of you.

No man, unless he is seriously unwell, needs TRT at 30.

One of my friends is losing his life and sanity to diazepam withdrawal, another joy of big pharmaceutical.

No doctor in the UK in his right mind would prescribe testosterone for a man of 30 in anything but a serious medical condition. Sorry, but your doctors are salespeople and not medical professionals.

I’ve struggled with drive at times but it’s because I’m fat and I don’t exercise. Prescribing TRT to a man of 30 is borderline criminal.

Read my response again. All of it. Slowly. I WAS unwell. It’s not criminal. The stigma attached to it is retarded and doctors are just scared and/or ignorant. Women take birth control (methylated steroids basically) in their teens. But men taking testosterone, which our body already makes, is criminal and unethical? Come on.

Women take the pill to stop getting pregnant.

Test declines slowly with age. It’s called ageing.

I struggle with energy as I age. I’m considering starting a speed habit.

Yeah. Because.... Speed and what your testicles already make, which your body requires, is the same thing. See? Your low test levels are making you irrational. Like a woman. They also have low test levels lol Just look into it. Don’t take my word for it. I’m just a guy who basically became an endocrinologist without the degree just so I wouldn’t be ignorant on the matter. Like most are. But there are plenty of credible sources I can point you towards. There are books, medical studies, articles, the list goes on. I mean... you’re on the sosuave forum. Im assuming masculinity matters to you, look into it. Again, you may not need it. If my levels were at 500-600 (where they should be at 30) I wouldn’t have started. No doctor is hustling me. I drew bloods multiple times ON MY OWN thru labcorp before I ever even started looking for competent doctors.

And I already mentioned how all of my health markers improved. So I’m not sure why this is even a debate. I wonder if you’d give a diabetic this much backlash for taking insulin (which by the way is a million times more dangerous than testosterone ever will be).

200-300 and above if I remember correctly is not medically an issue.

Bodybuilders inject about 500-600 a week don’t they?

I don’t have an issue. I can father children. I can fvck. I get the urge about 3* a week now. Stress can put me off it a bit, but that’s just life.

I might even be swayed if it’s really a lot better, I just figure that humanity did ok for millions of years without injecting sex hormones.

Am I interested in masculity? Not really, I came here to have help with dating, which in a lot of cases didn’t work and just ended up making me a self interested and obsessed prick. In fact, when I gave up playing a game and just was myself, I did a lot better. There are other frames than high school jock, which is the main one which surfaces here, although a lot of advice is solid.

As far as I can see form google search, 300-1000 is normal. If yours weren’t under 300, you were normal. If you’re not at 500-600, then you just are naturally a bit lower test but not medically an issue. If it was sub 300 then you have a point and I apologise.

Here's the script:

1) Keep well hydrated (I drink at least one gallon of water a day). You do this to keep blood volume high and eliminate the potential V headache;

2) On days you need to perform, do a 30 min medium-paced cardio session (I usually do a mix of a light jog at 5 mph and fast walk at 4 mph). This primes your vessels to dilate, akin to warming up your engine;

3) One hour prior to the dirty deed, take a 100mg of Viagra (V);

4) Pop out 12 rounds over the next 24 hours like a champ for no reason other than because you can.

Makes sense now. They always seem to be in pain. I just thought it was me.
I think it’s the pain of the post sex piss when you’re still hard and trying to bend double to get any out.

When I was on the day after a massive viagra dose, I swear, I was playing battlefield and blew up like 15 enemies with dynamite and I actually got hard over that.

I noted when I was teenager becoming slightly aroused winning poker money and winning computer games.

I really hope that’s normal.

Your concerns about propecia: https://www.webmd.com/sexual-condit...pecia-proscar-new-sexual-dysfunction-warnings. You Might want to stop taking it and see what comes up (so to speak). Sorry... couldn’t resist.

-Augustus-
I've used Propecia off-and-on over the years and decided to quit for good a couple months ago. I've never had ED, but I feel that I have a bit more of an edge when I don't have the poison in my system. Maybe it's psychological, but I trust my body more than I trust a drug company.

Normal for who? Define “normal”. That’s the thing. Those ranges are collected from ALL MEN. Which includes obese men, old men, sick men, etc etc. Do not go by the reference range. Our grandfathers and great grandfathers had much higher testosterone levels than we do. The world isn’t the same anymore. And getting “the urge” only 3 times a week.... quite frankly.... sucks.

This is literally a debate between a guy that knows nothing about hormones and a guy that knows everything about hormones. Do your own research. Or don’t if you’re not interested. Nobody’s telling you to do anything. Yes, bodybuilders take a LOT more than what I take. Not sure why you’re mentioning fathering children. Fertility has almost nothing to do with what I’m saying.

Again, the only reason I said anything is because BE’s guy’s doctor is not competent. An injection every 2 weeks is not ok. You’re using theories and personal opinions to back up your arguments, I’m using science based evidence, anecdotal evidence, and bloodwork to back up mine. I’m sure you’re an expert at a few things that I am not. I would not debate you on those topics unless I was 100% convinced I was right. Are you? If so, how come? The media? What you’ve heard?

Yes... for thousands of years we didn’t need to take anything. For thousands of years we lived and ate as men should live and eat. Can you honestly say that is still the case?

I don’t mean to come off like a jerk, but it’s frustrating that it’s been so demonized knowing what I know now. It’s like we’ve all been duped. Before I learned everything, I thought the same thing. Why do it? But knowing what I know now it’s like.... why NOT do it?

Think about it, symptoms include depression (there’s a drug for that), low libido (another drug for that), type 2 diabetes (there’s a drug for that), not enough sleep (there are drugs for that), the list goes on. But these can all be treated with ONE hormone. Think the main stream wants u to know that? Legally u can’t patent something that’s naturally occurring. Test is cheap. Those other drugs are not. That’s why they’ll try and patent delivery systems like androgel (which sucks). It’s a hell of a rabbit hole.

Wait....you are telling daproest1 NOT to get TRT but you are taking Viagra? Legit LOL.

Not only that but you are talking about being natural and normal. Yeah OK buddy.

I personally prefer not to do either but the point of this post is to show the hypocrite in which you are.

Jesus man, calm down, roid rage!

3 times a week, what, you think you should be still jacking like a 14 year old in your thirties?

I’m basing this on what the medical profession see as normal or abnormal. If the profession doesn’t deem it clinically significant to factor in weight and all the other variables, Im not interested.

As a man of 37, let me explain. A lot more of this stuff is going to happen. You’re going to ache getting up. You’re going to stop wanting to go to nightclubs. Sometimes, you’ll have 3 beers and get a big hangover. You won’t keep up physically with guys who are 22. One day, you’re going to not be able to run, you’re going to be so old you’ll piss yourself.

I had these kind of panics buddy when I was turning 30. You just have to accept it.

As you say, if you truly believe you’re abnormal, do as you will. I noticed my sex drive drop the rpm at about 34 ish and most of my friends acknowledge once a day is probably ambitious for a man in his mid 30s onwards.

Probably easier to deal with that then take androgens. If they were truly that safe and easy, everyone would be prescribed them and there would be a huge industry.

I’d rather just stick to graceful aging, self care, and women who don’t need to get railed 3x a day else they’re screwing the neighbour.

Remember, high test does some good things but it also is the leading cause of being a pr1ck, evidenced by millions of young men doing stupid shyt worldwide.

If he’s getting injections “every COUPLE of weeks” he’s not doing it right. Tell him to find a different doctor. An endocrinologist that understands half lives. Not a urologist or a primary that knows nothing about hormones
Yup. Endocrine workup last week. VA so waiting on results. Also he changed to the T gel. More stable levels more energy, more frisky ;)

This is a complicated subject and I have a hypothesis but no back up studies to prove it.

This however doesn't apply to those with serious medical conditions.

When a man is stressed from work or being in a submissive mind frame he is more then likely to need meds for ED even at an early age of 30.

In terms of this site, men who are more predisposed to please women are more likely to face ED issues and will need viagra.

Whilst men who are more predisposed to just take and do as they please sexually with women has an unlikely need for it.

The pleaser is stressed to perform his best whilst the taker just takes as it pleases him.

2 different mindsets will yield 2 different results.
