Nice little powersnack I put together recently.

@Hank Moody I bought 4 lbs.' worth of kiwi at Costco last weekend. Trying hard to eat them all before they go rotten.

That looks good. Cherry tomatoes, blueberries, scrawberries, boiled eggs, and kiwi. That should fill you up for a while.

I think there were a few raspberries in there, too.

Got my first COVID vaccine shot yesterday.

Trained last night. Ran-walked a new route.

Fitness monitor device is broken so I'll estimate:

4 miles run-walk (70% running/30% WALKING)
3 X 100 yards sprints (sprinted on the grass; was absolutely gassed after doing these)

Also did 100 pushups.

now I'm curious and also a little worried how this shot will affect your performance

I hope you'll be ok man

Awesome workout you had last night.

.I haven't tried sprints in years, I was more a shotputt and long jump competitor-not a fast runner but who knows what one can achieve with enough conditioning and repetition.

I admire how guys can do so many pushups in a row. There's some admirable videos on youtube on guys doing pushups

My arm feels a little dull and achey since getting the shot yesterday, but I'm not concerned at all about physical limitations. However, my next shot is in 3 weeks, and I expect to feel some flu-like symptoms from that.

FYI the most pushups I can currently do in a row is probably around 50 (personal record is 70, which I did last year). I personally like to do them slow-ish...I try not to pay too much attention to the # of reps. It took me about 5-6 sets to get those 100 pushups last night.

oh!

I'm going to try 2 real ones tonight.

I never thought about how long I could take in between each one. Guys get such quick incredible gains. Nice to see.

There's a yt video I've been meaning to watch. In the cover shot it show's buddy's day 1 and day 30... I'll post the screenshot image to my own fitness log so as not to derail yours too, too much. I'll look for it.

Good to know. What kind of training do you do for the arms?

Yes I do feel like I'm seeing results. Midsection is getting a lot leaner and more defined (estimated BF is currently around 15%) and my overall body musculature is looking tighter. Quads, hams, and calves are looking thick, at least by my standards, and I have done almost zero legwork with weights in 2021.

I do want to shed more fat and start lifting weights again. I want to look like an XL version of Brad Pitt in Fight Club. Shredded but amply muscled.

Not quite at the point where I run shirtless but I feel like I'm getting close. I imagine in a few months that there will be plenty of horny post-covid women along the run route.

It's time to take things to the next level.

1. Consume zero alcohol and weed until THURS May 27, 2021. This means I will abstain for 45 days. Last time I consumed was SAT 4/10/21.

2. No masturbation or porn until May 27, 2021.

3. Add an extra 100 pushups to my outdoor workouts (currently doing 200 pushups).

4. Do a minimum 30 chin-ups on my outdoor workouts (currently doing 20 chin-ups).

5. Buy a set of dumbbells or join a gym. Lift weights minimum 2x per week and do cardio minimum 3x per week. No more excuses. Time to get back to the iron.

More ways for me to take it to the next level:

More greens
More water
More meals (4-5 per day)
1 more workout per week (averaging 3 per week)
More forgiveness
More laughter
More acceptance
More stretching
