Last night after my friend and I left a bar, we saw a girl getting into her car next to ours. My friend struck a conversation up first when I unlocked the car, and I soon went over to talk with them. She seemed to gravitate towards me, and near the end of the conversation I learned she didn't have a boyfriend and she lives pretty close to me. I got her number, hopefully it was a real one, and then we split our ways. I probably pulled a bad move in texting her last night so she would know my number before I called. I did not call her yet, and I did not get a text back from her. What should I do? How would you remedy the situation or did I mess it up beyond belief?
The only thing you can do now is wait 2-3 days and call her. If she doesn't pick up, leave a message stating that you will call her again at a specific time and day. If she is interested, she will be sure to be around for your call.
When you call again, if she doesn't pick up, forget her.
Would you give a girl that you didn't find attractive your number? No you most likely wouldn't! However, I've known girls to give out there number to ugly b*stards that they openly say they hate!
No you didn't make a bad move by txt'ing mate! What you did is saved yourself some hassale cos' you've discovered that YOU do not warrent an immediate reply! If she liked you it wouldn't matter when you txt'd, but cos she probably sees you as a regular guy she'll take her time txting you back if at all...Her phonebook is probably full of guys names that she's never even spoken too! Fvcking "phone number harvesters"...its like these chumps that have over 300 contacts on MSN, most they don't know, some don't even log in, and the remaining 5 are real friends - but hey we have to keep up the image of being popular!
Delete the number, if she txts you just ignore it...unless it's a good excuse for making you wait! Replying in good time to a txt, email, letter is just common courtesy!

I guess it all comes down to IL. If the girl likes you, you can send her a text, after 1 month of waiting, saying that you got diarrhoea, and she will still like you. On the other hand, you can be the most funny guy on the phone and all, and she won't give a damn cause her IL is low.
