Hollywood is slowly losing its influence as more and more people arent going to movie theatres and people are canceling there cable. People are becoming popular now such as on Youtube and other places so theres no need for Hollywood anymore. Many people accuse Hollywood of brainwashing viewers and many people in the business describe how evil things happen in Hollywood.

In its current form, I wouldn't p!ss on Hollywood if it was on fire. If it would drop the politics, let's face it their award shows are a disgrace now - I wouldn't mind if it returned to focusing on entertainment and achieved some of its old success. But until then, I couldn't care less. Just because someone can act doesn't mean I want them to preach their political views to me, especially when I usually disagree with them.

I don't really care that much about Hollywood, but if it's on the decline, maybe that is because the balance is shifting and it has to readjust.

They catch a trend, they want to reach the masses, they miscalculate and back the wrong horse and they need to recalibrate.

It's clear to me (but perhaps not to Hollywood) that supporting the Woke Agenda turned out to be less profitable than expected and they will have to recoup their losses.

Even things like instagram, I know ppl here think it will be around for ever, but we are going into an kind of inversion point of human culture and many many things will lose value and meaning and energy. So with things like Instagram theres only so much fun, addiction or dopamine it can provide until most normal ppl cant be asked to post anymore, cos been there dont that. Same with travel, same with consumerism like watches and cars and hype.

With Hollywood, films, stories, politics etc it is more interesting because we are heading into a new system and in that system the old stories dont really make sense anymore. To watch a movie or be political engaged there has to be emotional connection, for that there has to be meaning, ie the story has to make sense. But as humn society is evolving the old stories just dont make sense, so me watching a movie it feels like I am just watching white noise I cant make sense of it cos its all random garbage going on I cant follow it.

No joke, my bro has Netflix and like all other streaming services on abig screen. One time I sat to eat adn watch TV for a while. I literally spent 45mins just swithcing channels cos i couldnt watch anything for more than a few minutes it was all boring and annoying so I literally spent 45mins swtiching channels every couple minutes.

It disappoints me that ppl can still watch mainstream dumb tv stuff and actually think it makes sense or has any coherence or meaning, its mostly just like watching white noise for me.

Movies played a vital role in our upbringing. From coming to America to Bruce Lee's movies to original xmen to..back to the future...and so on . Home alone is STILL broadcasted every damn Christmas, like Mariah Carey's song is still by far the hottest song during that time of the year.

The same thing we saw happening with e.g the dating apps happens everywhere: one big fish swallowed all the others and "dominates " the market at OUR expenses.

I can't imagine what's it like growing up with this bs copy from a copy entertainment, both in music and film.
