I heard this cool song in the club, but I can't find the name of it.
It was like a hip-hop song with a good beat/baseline, was mostly a chick singing...but had a male rapper say "get your hands up, get your hands up, get your hands up, get your hands up" etc during the middle. I've tried google but I can't pinpoint this song, if anyone has any ideas it'd be appreciated.
its not that, the lyrics for that are diffrent to what green 69 is saying.

Maybe not. it's hip-hop and it's recent enough to be liable to be played in clubs.
Black eyed peas has a lead woman singer with the rest guys, and i'm sure that in a club, you aren't going to 'exactly' know what the lyrics were.
Tried that Black Eyed Peas song, nope. Tried that Kirk Franklin song as well, no luck. Anyways thanks for the input, if anyone suddenly has an idea lemme know please.
Thx for the guesses - I downloaded that song h2o I recognize that one too they play it on the club a lot. That song sounds great in the club cuz of the good baseline but on the computer with headphones it doesn't sound good. A lot of songs sound really good in the club but aren't as good in other scenarios.
I also did a quick download of a couple of the other suggestions but none of them were it unfortunately.
Maybe the "get your hands up part" was a little remix add-in or something and I admit "get your hands up" is a common line in hip-hop. In that case, I only remember the words "tonight" seemed to be repeated often in the song. Again I tried google but no luck. I am being really vague I know and all your efforts are appreciated.
If you guys know of any other titles of generic hip-hop songs they play in the club that'd be cool too because I usually like a lot of songs there but don't know half the titles (I'm new to hip-hop/top 40)
The stuff I usually hear is like 50 cent, or maybe a little Gwen Stefani, and random songs like Juvenile - Back that ass up, Petey Pablo - Freek a Leek, or Joe Buddens - Fire etc which aren't as well known (but they are usually my favourites.)
Mariah Carey - It's like that is another popular club classic. I tried the summer jam song too but that's like dance music, the song I heard is hip hop.
I woke up this morning and vaguely remembered part of the lyrics are like "Tooonight! (lyrics I couldn't understand...) Tooonight! (lyrics I couldn't understand...)" then near the middle of the song was the random "get your hands up" part which seemed really out of place. Man I hate when a song gets stuck in your head and you don't know the name of it...

it's gotta be the song i mentioned because it goes "who's fvckin toonight!?" several times in the middle too ...possibly it just sound bad with headphones? try speakers
