So this is something more practical since I usually write deeper articles that requiere interpretation. This is tested out and it works:
1) First of all you need some female friends. Best thing would be female friends from your AFC times, could even be a former crushes and/or LJBFs
2) So you are improving right? People are going to see you in a different light. Yet they are also quiet a bit afraid. That's why you are going to show the old AFCness from time to time. Do I mean buying teddy bears or spilling your feelings all over the place? NO! I mean still taking the friendship route. This should keep their guards down even though they see you changing.
3) Wait for a transition phase. They broke up with their boyfriend? They got a new job? They moved out from their parents house? They started university? GREAT! Now it's time to pull your inner DJ out and strike.
4) After the first sex, again, loosen up a bit and listen and understand their feelings etc. This will prevent them from falling in love with you. Again, don't overdo it, they should still be attracted to you.
That's it. You'Ve got yourself a friendship with benifits. Good job ^^
