Never had a coach yet. Books, forums, videos, and social media influencers are what's popular around here, but they can't monitor one in-field nor catch the things one does unconsciously. It's unfortunate that so few people can identify reputable in-field instructors.

That really is more a matter of how stable the region is and what you were looking to experience there. Not every location will "always be there" in the form one might seek to visit it. To use your examples, London and Manila might "always be there" in that they'll likely retain a form currently...
