    Missing Easy Approaches: Reflection/Remedy?

I’m usually good about this… but I blew it today. I was really disappointed in myself. I on a 2 day resort vacation with a group of friends(they had it paid for so I thought I would go.) I saw some girls in swimsuits who were THICC, but I didn’t have the balls to talk to them. I need to get to...

What Do You Tell Your Family?

I’m down, but where does one meet these Arab Latina and Indian women? As for Nashville women: I’ve had some very motivating successes here and there, and I’m willing to put in the work, but I will agree that the effort I’ve put in has been massive. Nashville locals can truly be the absolute...

What Do You Tell Your Family?

Insightful response. I’ll definitely try some of these out in the future.

What Do You Tell Your Family?

This is a true statement. The only exception to this is my black friends who are game-aware.

Road to Overemployed? Next Career Steps…

Speaking to this point... I do think that the next step I should take is upskilling. It would be very advantageous for me to knock out my AWS Solutions Architect Associate and AWS Certified Developer Associate certifications this summer while I don't have a side job, because that makes me more...

What Do You Tell Your Family?

This one may not be as relatable.. but as a black male I often get a lot of pushback from other black people about dating white girls. For example, every time I mention some of the white girls in Nashville to my black friends, I get told to "leave those white girls alone" lol. I spent some time...

Road to Overemployed? Next Career Steps…

I like the idea of a side hustle completely paying for my car note and car insurance, therefore letting me get out of debt and build my savings slightly faster since I can direct more of my income towards that. I also really like the idea of that side hustle money(I could probably make around...

Road to Overemployed? Next Career Steps…

Yes, the job market is horrible right now. This would make what I would be attempting a very big risk. Taking a pay cut is bad. Also, even if I were dead set on something like this, it would be better to do after having more savings to mitigate that risk. The downside to staying is that I’ll be...

What Do You Tell Your Family?

The older I get, the more I seem to get these questions lol. I’m now 27, and it seems that every time I see my mom she asks me if I have a girlfriend or if I plan on getting married. (They got married at 28.) I can’t exactly answer “I’m moving to a bigger city, doing cold approaches, making up...

Road to Overemployed? Next Career Steps…

Wanted to reach out again to get opinions on the next steps in my career… Previously I made a thread about how my tech job was leaving me with no time. The main reason for this was I wasn’t actively scheduling my time, I was just using a simple to-do list. When I started scheduling everything...

Renting is now cheaper than owning in all of America’s 50 biggest metro areas

Dumb question.. not interested in homeownership personally but just curious. Let's say that these interest rates do come down. Is it then possible to refinance your mortgage like any other loan?

    Favorite Pull Excuses After Dates?

I agree that first date pulls can be more difficult. I need to set up more second and third dates. Although you could argue, the best way to see her again is to sleep with her on the first date haha. I was reading my old FRs, and I realized a mistake I’m making is that I need to ALWAYS go for...

    Favorite Pull Excuses After Dates?

I have a few more dates coming up soon. I was curious to see what pull excuses you all are using to get the girl back to your place(or pull to her place) these days. When I’m Nightgaming, the excuse is always “an afterparty.” My wing says that his are excuses are to “chill and watch a movie,”...

Emergency Fund Destroyed. Back to the Side Hustles?

Yeah, we hit a lot of topics lol. And you're correct. I'm digging myself out of this hole, then never again.

Emergency Fund Destroyed. Back to the Side Hustles?

This is a very good question. I'm a good bit away from paying off my student loans, but I wonder if the same applies to those? The student loan is my oldest account.

Think it's worth investing in dating apps?

Yeah.. you also have to include parking, gas, and maybe even a hotel room. Drinks are also very overpriced. Nightgame definitely costs money.

Emergency Fund Destroyed. Back to the Side Hustles?

I've heard some people say that if you've ever been charged a cent of interest in your life, you are not a "credit card person." I wouldn't go as far as closing the accounts though. That would decimate my credit. I would just put some groceries on them and instantly pay it off, or something...

Emergency Fund Destroyed. Back to the Side Hustles?

Totally agree with this take. I think the personal loans need to go right after the credit cards(they are pretty close interest-wise) and then that alone alleviates a ton of payments. Once that's gone, I can build up an emergency fund very quickly.

Emergency Fund Destroyed. Back to the Side Hustles?

A hell of a lot cheaper than renting
