Unpopular Opinion: I feel muscles are overrated.

That’s what’s up. I’m also glad that dumb trend of gym bros refusing to do cardio or “cardio burns muscle” is starting to die lol. Cardio Is such a useful tool on a cut in my opinion

Unpopular Opinion: I feel muscles are overrated.

Strength is size for sure. I got wayyy bigger on Stronglifts than following those fluff and pump bodybuilding programs lol Curious, do you plan on training for strength indefinitely to build the physique? As in your main focus being increasing your squat bench deadlift etc

Unpopular Opinion: I feel muscles are overrated.

Yeah, not only does the fasting force you to eat in a deficit but it also minimizes your cooking and cleaning time. I find I don’t crave the junk food after a long fast. You can also eat big meals or go out socially while remaining in a deficit. So many benefits. I don’t think I’ll ever go back...

Unpopular Opinion: I feel muscles are overrated.

Yeah man, once you get to or above 48 hours those extended fasts just shred the fat off. It’s ridiculous lol. Combine that with portion control/CICO and activity, and you really can’t lose imo. Nearly impossible to be fat, or fail at cutting. Glad to hear you’re getting the mental clarity from...

Unpopular Opinion: I feel muscles are overrated.

I like the way you diet handling those cheat days… we have pretty similar dieting philosophies tbh. I hate it when dieticians say “oh, if you have a bad day or bad couple of days just get back on your normal diet and you’ll be fine.” Those cheat days are devastating and can completely stall...

Absolute injustice, Daygamer had both arms broken

Complicated situation for sure, but that’s low from James Tusk. My respect for him definitely dipped He should’ve released a statement standing up for his student.

    Are videogames a unhealthy habit?

Yeah, destressor for sure. I think everyone needs some kind of destressor. Plus, it gives you motivation to grind and get through the work day or whatever cause it gives you something to look forward to. “Once I get through this work day I get to play the game for an hour”

Observations about college sex life from someone that went to a party school.

I think this is part of what happened with the Austen Summers Colombia Bootcamp unfortunately.

    Solving the Safety Objection

Wanted to know you all’s strategy for dealing with this objection. It’s a very common one that I get. My wing and I will pull a girl from the bar/club and get them to our car so that we can bring them to our place to take shots. Oftentimes, we get hit with the safety objection: “We just met...

Getting Employment with Low-ish College GPA?

This is a good place to bump this. After I was fired, the band completely fell apart 6 months later. Their last show is this upcoming weekend. Had I went full time into music, I would’ve had no savings, been unable to pay rent, and would’ve had to move back in with my parents. I never stopped...

Getting Employment with Low-ish College GPA?

As for progressing my career, I plan to start getting multiple certifications other than my Security+. My company will pay for it. I plan to start studying for my AWS Developer Cert in very early April. I’m working hard on my side hustle so I won’t really have time to study as needed until then.

Primary Focus: Where to Direct my Money?

I’m in the process of auditioning for a second job as we speak. If this works out for me, it’s very likely that I could live in a bigger city within a few months. The hard part will be preparing for said audition while working a corporate ass job lol…

Hotels vs Air B and B

I’m currently working in corporate, and stacking up my cash so that I can live the kind of lifestyle that I desire. One of my goals is to reach the point where I can travel to a different big city every single weekend, and Game there. Even when I live in a big city myself. Basically, one giant...

Primary Focus: Where to Direct my Money?

I was chatting with a member about this topic in the DMs, but I think it would be good to make a separate thread on this topic as well. I currently work as a software engineer at a smaller firm: in a smaller town. I’m not really super concerned about being laid off due to cuts, since we are...
