Update - My back feels fine now, but I hurt it at the worst possible time because it's finals week now and I don't have time to train :( I won't be able to get back to the gym until Saturday and I'm going to go light on the squats and deadlifts to make sure my back is 100%.

Decided to go in today and just go light, want to make sure my back is OK.

12/10/08

Deadlift:

2 x 1 x 405 lbs

Just went light, didn't want to push it. Felt fine.

Squat:

2 x 5 x 275 lbs

Went light here too, felt fine.

DB bench press:

5 x 75 lbs

Pretty sure this is a new 5RM with the DBs for me.

8 x 50 lbs
10 x 50 lbs

My chest and triceps are already sore, and I just got home from the gym.

lol

Thanks guys.

It's all relative. I remember when I first did 225 lbs and thought that was heavy. I saw a guy do 625 lbs for a single a couple months ago at the gym

Haven’t done any serious training in almost 2 months, have to get back into it. My conditioning is terrible and I'm weak, but I know it will come back quickly. I resume my MMA training tomorrow :)

I went to the doctor a few days ago and my blood pressure was 117/44 and my heart rate was 59 bpm :)

Squat:

2 x 5 x 275 lbs

Overhead press:

3 x 5 x 115 lbs

Deadlift:

1 x 3 x 365 lbs

I'm a little scared of deadlifts now but my back felt fine.

1.5 hours BJJ practice

First training in a looong time. Conditioning was terrible, skills were bad but not as bad as I thought they'd be. I am sore as hell now, feel like I've been hit by a truck. Need to get back into it.

God damn it, I shouldn't have taken so much time off. My legs are spectacularly sore. I can barely walk up and down the stairs  I wanted to keep training BJJ these last couple of days but I wouldn't even make it thru the warm-ups in this condition.

Deadlift:

Going to start working back up to where I was. Wanted to do more squats but my legs are still wiped out.

Your bench is pretty good, and consistent with the rest of your numbers. I'd be more worried about bringing your deadlift up :D

Squat:

5 x 295 lbs
5 x 270 lbs

Bench press:

5 x 140 lbs
5 x 130 lbs

Deadlift:

5 x 345 lbs

Was supposed to do another set with 310 lbs but I didn't remember until I had already unloaded the bar, was too lazy to set everything back up.

Squat:

3 x 305 lbs

Went for 5, failed on 4th rep

5 x 275 lbs

Bench press:

5 x 150 lbs

5 x 135 lbs

Easy.

Deadlift:

5 x 355 lbs

This was easy, easier than 345 was a couple days ago. I was going to do a 2nd set with 320 but I forgot again.

I got strep throat, and couldn't train for a week and a half :( All these setbacks are starting to get really annoying

Squat:

3 x 5 x 275 lbs

This was a lot harder than it should have been.

Bench press:

3 x 165 (Was going for 5 but I could tell that I wouldn't get the 4th rep)
5 x 155
3 x 155 (Failed on 4th rep... lame :( )

My roommate came to the gym with me, and this is the first time I've benched with a spotter instead of doing it in the rack. It was nice not to have to worry about crashing into the pins or anything during the eccentric.

Deadlift:

3 x 365
2 x 365

Had to take a little break after the 1st 3 reps.

It's so depressing how weak I've gotten :(
