Unbelievable. According to that article, Katie Holmes is probably going to get Tom Cruise's $35 million mansion in Beverly Hills. This is despite the fact that she filed in New York because the courts are more likely to take her side (i.e. they're more fem-centric).

This was an extremely cunning and well-planned move on her part (with the help of her lawyers and PR people I'm sure). She filed when Tom Cruise was half way around the world. She bolted with the kid and took her to New York, where she can probably extract more out of him. She also had some well-timed magazine covers to come out just before filing for divorce. Now she's also making regular public appearances to portray herself as the sweet, lovely Mom who's concerned for her child.

Of course, the media is lapping it up. So when it's all said and done, she might get a $35 mil Beverly Hills mansion, an luxury apartment in Chelsea, 3-5 million for every year she was married to Tom Cruise plus child support. And she'll probably get to keep the kid too.

She got all that for just opening her legs. And people bash prostitutes!?
Cannot agree more, prostitutes show much more ethic than cvnts like this one, as much as escort users show much more common sense than most men who get married under the current condition.

For fvck sake even a mouse doesnt press a button if he see an other mouse being trapped for doing it, are modern men less clever than a fking rat?!

Guys have long terms if you appreciate it but under this condition dont take a senseless risk.

Guys, read more about how fvcking sick and creepy that cult is. There are a lot of horror stories on the internet about what is going on inside. I read that Katie was afraid that they would send her daughter to sea.org or some other hubbard-youth organization which would fvck the kid up for life. If she blindsided Cruise, it was for a very good reason, she also blindsided the whole organization.

Last I heard, Miscavige (the leader) is having a psychotic breakdown because the whole episode.

She knew exactly what she was getting into before she married the guy. She converted to Scientology after she started dating him. It took her 5 and a half years to figure out that stuff is whack? Really!?

I think a more likely explanation is that he made her 'gina tickle at the start of their relationship. Then, for whatever reason, he couldn't make her 'gina tingle like he used to. She also realized that at 5 years into the marriage, she was entitled to a whole lot of extra cash under the terms of their prenup. She also realized that she had a convenient excuse built in. "Oh that guy is a whacky Scientologist. That stuff is creepy!"

Scientology is whack. But it's no more weird than some forms of Orthodox Judaism, hardcore Baptist Christianity, ultra-conservative Islam or certain kinds of Mormonism. There are literally millions of people raising children in those faiths.

I would throw in most mainstream religions as well. Most people don't think Christianity is weird because the "supernatural" events in question took place 2,000 years ago instead of 50 or 100. "Regular" Christians mock Mormons for believing that Christ appeared in America in the 19th century, but they take very seriously the notion that that man could walk on water or turn it into wine. That's like saying you believe Superman can fly but no way he's bulletproof.

Scientology only sounds preposterous to most people because it was dreamed up during our age of science and discovery, and involves extraterrestrials. Had Moses or Mohammed preached it back in the day I bet it'd be far more popular. I've always believed Scientology was L. Ron Hubbard's great practical joke on the human race.

We never know. If it was merely a money thing, she could have stayed longer to take more money from him (if this was her intention) right? Maybe Tom Cruise was not who she thought he was, he was bad in bed, whatever. Besides that, Religious cults are never upfront about their "rules". Maybe after the girl was born she began to see the ugly side of scientology. Have you ever read about the Monnies?

Moonies, Scientology, they seem similar. This documentary shows how creepy they can be: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wwPMHM3qC9w There´s a book called "Combatting Cult Mind Control: The #1 Best-selling Guide to Protection, Rescue, and Recovery from Destructive Cults". It´s an interesting read on the subject.

I don´t think it was a matter of money, but again, we never now. Tom Cruise is not a "normal" person from what we can read/see about him... Anyways, he seemed way more into her than the she was into him. As we know this never ends well. Once a woman "dominates" a man, it´s over.

You would have to be incredibly stupid to not do your research about your future spouse's religion. I mean she vowed to spend the rest of her life with this man and she intended to let him father her children. And she really didn't know about what goes on? I guess that's possible, but again that's her own fault for being a moron.

And why did it take 5 years? Could it have been something to do with the fact that her pre-nup would give her more money? She could have stayed longer and made even more, but I guess she figured that $3-$5 mil per year + child support was enough. She's literally made tens of millions of dollars for spreading her legs!

Check this out:
http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-31749_1...isposable-cell-phone-to-start-divorce-report/

Apparently, she planned this out well in advance and had it all set up to extract maximum money out of the guy. She used a secret cell phone to setup a lawyer. And then she spend a few weeks every month in New York to establish residency there so that she could take advantage of the laws.

I'm not a fan of Tom Cruise. I'm not advocating Scientology. I think it's a crock just as I think all religions are. But you gotta admit, that's some cold hard sh*t right there!

Imagine the sh!t storm had the boot been on the other foot and cruise behaving the way Holmes did? as much as people seem to despise Cruise, he seems to be handling this pretty well in as much as he has refrained from using publicity to call Holmes out on her subterfuge. I would be f cucking livid!

Guys who are thinking of getting married should really pay attention to this, once she has lost attraction or something bigger and better comes along, you will be out of your depth dealing with her secrecy, lies and support network.
I work with lots of women and see this played out on a less glamourous environment on a weekly basis.

Exactly! If it was Tom Cruise who secretly got his ducks in a row and then blind-sided her we'd be hearing about what an @$$hole he is for protecting his assets. In fact that did happen when he divorced Nicole Kidman. But I guess it's totally OK for a woman to sneak around and to take advantage of loopholes so that she can seek maximum leverage in a divorce settlement.

She still wants EVERYthing despite the prenup and Tom was "blind-sided." It should not be right for the female to get a fvcking dime if she divorces for non-adulterous reasons. Fvcking insane. How do we EVER consider getting married as guys? When women are NOW left to their own devices with sheep-sh!t minds that can dart left or right at moments notice. Divorce is No longer looked down upon. In the olden days, fear of stigma from divorce kept imperfect marriages together. This is bullsh!t. Sorry for Tom. If I were him, with all his money, I'd become a Mormon (if marriage was important to me), and build a secluded ranch with Multiple wives - one Great Big FAmily. He can afford it.
Heh, I'm a smart man. My walk in life would attest to that...

let me just say, I am also a cautious man. Yet, I would have laid down my life in a bet that my ex-fiance would never leave me or quit on us. She blind-sided me 2 weeks before the wedding. Cold turkey cut-off, ran to her parents, changed her number, never spoke to me again. Not a single word.

The more I learn about women and the world, the more and more you realize you should NEVER take them seriously. Love them the right amount, have fun with them, enjoy yourself like any normal person, but don't ever take them seriously.

There are good women out there, but they are very small in number. They do exist.

but every single woman I have ever known, has been the same. My mother cheated on my father and divorced him, my uncle's wife divorced him and took his kids, two of my female friends have talked on the phone WITH THEIR BOYFRIENDS while blowing a sexy kiss to me and flirting with me secretly..... the more you learn.... brother, erase everything you learned from watching disney movies. they are bitc*** and sluts. as soon as they get "bored", they do whatever the hell they feel like and justify it.

There's no winning for him if he criticizes her. All that would happen is that fewer women would want to go to his movies, and he would make less money.

Yeah, he still cares about his legacy, his stardom. If Cruise had any balls, any self-worth, any Real integrity, he'd be direct and call a spade, a spade, In public, just awww fvck it, and spill his mind, but...Cruise is too nice. It's like 250 millionaire, and no balls, you'd think he'd speak his mind freely, be a Free man, and go beyond, "I was blind-sided" poor me. Fvck Cruise, grow a pair and lay down the law, YOUR law, your integrity, your identity and fvcking firestorm the sh!t outta this b!tch. If the public turns it's back on you (did they on Charlie Sheen? don't know), they you can say "Fvck (them) too" and live your own life away from movies. Who gives a fvck about movies.

I would HATE being a celebrity being watched 24/7. If were him, with 250 million to my name, I'd fake my fvckin death and move to a secluded place and live up the rest of my life with as many non-startlett (starlettes are not-as-good-looking-as-many-every-day-women imo) wives. Cruise is a chump! unless he comes out and says something from that little brain of his that confronts the current b!tchdom we face as an aggregate of men today. He ain't no leader, at this point, just a whittle (away) man multi-millionaire. I have no respect for him, and Most men shouldn't go see his movies anymore, until he grows a pair and fvcks the name of the mother of his only child, UNLESS he did some really heinous things to warrant a divorce, she had no right to just rip the kid away and scrap the marriage for no reason.

That's women for ya, no integrity, but maybe she was looking for integrity, and as we all men can see, Tom Cruise had none cause he wasn't willing to make every fvckin little decision for her, where she can go, what she can do, when. That's the ONLY way to keep a woman. You must be her direction ALWAYS.
