Hey guys,
With my approaches, I can usually get a good convo going...for like 1 minute. I'll say something relevant for the opener, run with that for a little bit, then I'll just fizzle out after a while. In a social setting, it's not that bad, but sometimes when I do it at a tram stop or something, it's somehow wierder for me.
For example, I opened a 7 waiting for a tram.
"Long wait for the tram eh?"
"Yeah I been here for 10 minutes"
"Oh that's a different accent, is it Scottish?"
we go on for a couple of minutes, she's a backpacker who's in town for a holiday, etc.
Then i just fizzle out. And I eject. This happens a lot.
so 2 questions please
1) What the hell do I do when I blank out?
2) I sometimes feel that there is no attraction, just a nice convo with a stranger. Any ideas?
PS: Any thing more from direct game would be appreciated, I don't really enjoy MM or Juggler. I just like natural/direct game, although tips from MM/Juggler/etc that doesn't require much reading will be cool too!
