It's amazing that I keep seeing arguments on this board about how women on OLD are seemingly women who have been dropped off from another planet somewhere, and it's nothing but a cesspool of TRASH.

My theory has always been that the women on OLD represent the collective women in your local market, so if the women you are interacting with on POF, OKC and Match in your area are TRASH, then that just goes to show the current status for the women in your area.

But let's not stop at POF, OKC, and Match in terms of including platforms that are OLD. Every guy here knows that 90% of women 21 - 45 are ON Facebook or some other type of Social Media.

- What is the difference between let's say a Facebook versus OKcupid? Nothing!

- Both are free
- Both allow the woman to get a lot of attention
- Both allow the woman to get her inbox FULL of guys trying to fvck/date her
- Both allow the woman to update her pics and get likes

- This is why Facebook created Tinder in the first place, they realize they are very similar to the dating websites so why not just add a dating app for Facebook users and call Facebook exactly what it is.......another dating site?

- There's NO difference between the OLD market and the General Market........because the General Market and the OLD Market is the SAME Market! Which means the Market is TRASH.

- Finding a woman of quality with no kids, good finances, no personality/attitude issues, and no looks related issues, is looking for a unicorn! NO matter where you look, be it online, church, or wherever.

- The best you can do is reduce your criteria down and learn to accept either a chick with kids, a chick with bad finances, a chick with personality/attitude problems, or a chick with looks related issues.

The reason I don't use online dating (nor will I) is I just don't believe that any truly attractive woman should have a need to use it. Just as a disclaimer: I don't fault anyone else for going down that route if that's what they want to do, and I'm sure there are some good women scattered around, but I don't believe the girls I'm looking for can be found there.

The only reason I say that is I've dated my fair share of attractive women and every single one got so much attention in real life that there was literally no need. One girl I was seeing, in the space of one afternoon, got asked out by three different guys. Why would she need to go online?

Also I'm well aware that this applies to the ~18-35 range here. I think it's a different ball game as you get older as socialising gets a little more difficult.

Do they have a Facebook account?

I don't know if you guys READ the original post, you looked at the title and immediately posted a comment.

If the women in question you are referring to have a social media account, such as Facebook, then that's the SAME THING as online dating in terms of the number of men in her "inbox" trying to date her.

There's no difference.

I don't understand what some people's problem with social media is. Yes, you do it to get attention, just like you do most of the things in real life anyways. I don't see the problem, really? What is with the demonizing of the social media?

Sure they do.
Okay then, and my point is that you guys can't be separating the OLD market from the General market, as OLD also includes Facebook....which would mean the OLD market and the General market are the same thing (majority TRASH).

The point is look at the men they date they're 99% from Social Circle.
So do you have the CarFax of the pvssy world? Do you have a way to track where the source of a girl's dyck is coming from? We can't track that, we don't know if a particular dyck came from Facebook, OKC, or a local Wendy's Restaurant while she was picking up a Frosty.

What we DO know, is that 90% of women within our dating age ranges, are on some form of social media and said social media....allows for men (she doesn't know) to hit on her, try to get her number, and fill up her inbox with said requests.

Actually the last girl I was saying didn't even use social media (other than whatsapp to message friends directly)

EDIT: Now I think about it, one of the other girls stopped using social media too.. weird

Also, you reminded me of a random conversation I had with my mother: I was over visiting my parents, eating while the tv was on in the background. It was some ****ty dating program and I commented on how all the women were so unattractive that were on this show ie. out of shape, older than 30, single mothers etc.

Mum simply turned to me and said "Yes, that's because all the attractive women don't need to go on these shows.."

Anyway the point I was making was this: Truly desirable people don't need to use these mediums for attention - they'll be getting enough as it is in real life

Comparing Facebook to Tinder only shows how socially inept and clueless OP actually is on this topic.

I understand what you are saying but it's not refuting the FACT that 90% of the women we are dating are on Facebook/Social Media, and Facebook/Social Media functions in a very similar fashion to the dating websites.

Yeah and you're a fraud who makes up statements about spinning 15 women at a time, as well as a woman beater. So do yourself a favor and stay the fvck out of my threads before I expose you further. Thanks.

LOL. Expose what? Everything I say on here is truth. I have no reason to lie. It's 15 chicks since splitting up with my ex, not 15 at once ;)

Besides, didn't you write an essay-style PM begging for token friendship and apologising for your recent BPD antics.

Your BPD is getting the best of you again...See Tenacity's post in response to me telling him to stop trolling my thread:

No, I will post anywhere I want on an open discussion forum, sharing my opinions with those viewing as well as the original creator of the thread. If you want a private/exclusive discussion with only "certain" individuals, then you use the private conversation function. You also have the option of putting all of my content on "ignore".
He is so far down the rabbit hole I doubt he even sees the hypocrisy in the above.

I actually feel sorry for you. Mate, you really need to find some friends. If you're getting so riled up on a forum to the point where you're sending huge essay PMs pouring out your emotions you really need more help than anyone here can give you.

And happy to stay out of this thread as long as you can reciprocate by staying out of mine (despite declaring you wouldn't -see above)

Last time I checked Facebook wasn't an OLD site, I see what OP is saying but he is wrong

I live near a college town and belive it or not but most of these college girls do not use Tinder, why would they need too? they have tons of guys in their social circles, they are always partying there is no use having Tinder when there tons of good looking college guys approaching you left and right!

On top of that whenever I go out in the field I see super hot chicks that you won't find on Tinder or POF, why? these chicks don't need the app

Yup, I actually do agree with you. The difference is that I'm targeting the top 10% - I'm not interested in average women, so if that's what you're going for then I do sympathise.. not sure what to suggest to get around it though, ha.

I completely disagree.

The types of women who heavily use online dating, or are heavily invested in social media, are the low quality girls you don't want.

Every girl and guy has had(or has) a tinder, facebook, instagram, twitter, and even snapchat. The real deciding factor is how often they use it and what for.

This is why I left online dating years ago. It's a breeding ground for low quality women.

But Solo the point I'm making is that if they are using Facebook in general, that Facebook operates pretty much in the same way that an Online Dating site does.

Now we can't say that the majority of the women 21 - 45 aren't using Facebook or some other type of similar social media.
