Another one of my goals by the end of this summer is to hold my breath underwater for 2 minutes. Right now, I'm at 1:15, so anyone with knowledge of how to drastically improve my lung capacity (the cardio I do every day [4 miles running] doesn't seem to suffice)?

I know this seems rather basic, but remember to actually puff out your stomach when breathing in, rather than sucking it in. Your lung capacity should expand even more. Practice makes perfect!

i can do over 1.30 sometimes. What i do is hold breath for 15 seconds on and off, hyperventilate in between 15 second hold, do this few times, suck it in! :)
