cancelled date
so I had a woman cancel date
met her online dating website we mailed to and fro teasingly for 2 days then set coffee date just to meet and see, ya know ? she even sent me her cell phone number but I didnt call back, cause date was set, right ? date would have been thursday afternoon she emails wed evening telling me about forgetting having her eyes plucked just before our date and jokes teasingly that I should not mind cause I was not 'into' her good looks anyway, huh ? she feared that she would look awfull after the plucking so thursday morning she emails me again telling that girlfriends advice is to cancel date cause she would look sooo funny like a plucked chicken she apologize and says that she understands if I "want to blow her off" i mail her back saying ok and tells her to get back when she wants i tease her with; "a plucked chicken looks kinda ...naked... ;-) " could have made pun about the blowing off but decided against it cause it would be too x-rated ok women take their appearance seriously, we all know that, but arnt you supposed to look better going OUT of the beauty parlour ? oii the games that women play / scordate |

We all know she was not that interested...probably she got a call from another dude... There is no way to tell exactly what happened. But you will see it soon when she wont get back. Diagnosis: low IL... I have experienced it a lot but in a diffrent manner: she says in her email "Here is my number"... and I was never been able to actually reach oher over the phone. Thats weird, but probably women just come up with all sort of lies to avoid direct "Sorry I will not work out". |

Yeah, low interest plain and simple. This happens all the time.
Here's a good ??? to tack on to this thread: Should he have simply not responded back when she cancelled or hit her with a cocky funny comment about her being a flake? I usually just slam the door and drop all contact when that happens. What do you guys think? gixx

just a quick follow up;
she mailed me and suggested we meet saturday evening for a 'full date' our previous cancelled date was just a coffee date i mailed back; "sorry cant saturday, but how about wednesday afternoon ?" and hasnt dc. Love said that fridays and saturdays are reserved for after 3 months dating ? even if she asks ? we met online so first date should be short one, so i'm are not stuck with her for a whole evening she might still cancel the wednesday, but I can live with that ! / scordate |

by telling her you have plans that nite, she wonders with who and what by only being free on a week nite, makes her think you have low interest. with that being said , if she honestly wants you , now she will think she has to work hard to get you.

I tend to agree. You switched from Saturday to Wednesday? I'd offer justa different time on Saturday to show her that you have some plans, but dont mind to meet her. I think to make her wait from Saturday to Wednesday is a bit too much: you are going to have just a short date anyway, and she sees you are playing her..... So I would just counteroffer a different meeting time or maybe Sunday and met her for half an hour. Think about it: if you tell her you can't devout 30 mins of your time, you definitely play a game with her. She is not stupid and she feels that. What she'll do? Either drop this altogether or play a game with you... |

I think you made the right move by changing the date to Wednesday. Personally, I wouldn't have bothered with her at all after a cancelled date, but to go out with her on the night she wants AFTER a cancelled date would have been a bad move. (no offense meant al77)
