Lactose intolerance and nutrition
Quick question my roommate just brought up. If you're lactose intolerant, or moderately so, will you still get the nutrients from milk and dairy products?

Yes. Lactose intolerance comes from not breaking down the sugar in milk (lactose) correctly. The vitamins, minerals, etc are still there and will be absorbed. As far as I know they're not farted out.
If you're lactose intolerant do yourself a favor and get milk with lactose-digesting enzymes added (Lactaid is one name brand). It makes drinking milk a much more pleasant experience. |

Well
You could also try ISOPure whey shakes, some people with LI can drink them without problems.
