Guess what - practically every guy masturbates - it is a fact proven by the Kinsey Reports. Some do it more than others. Trying to not masturbate is like trying to hold your piss. It ain't going to work! It's going to *** out one way or another. Also lots of chicks masturbate too (masturbating with your girlfriend is a safe and GREAT idea and alternative to sex!) But the thing is semen builds up in you **** and it wants to come out one way or another. If you don't masturbate it will come out at night (nocturnal emissions), so you might as well masturbate! Plus it is a good way for you to learn what stimulates you sexually and therefore makes you a better sex partner for your girlfriend. It's not good for a couple of reasons.

1) Sexual tension can be put to good use. It gives lesser experienced guys a drive to get with women. If you've had LOTS of sex, sexual tension just p*sses you off! http://www.sosuave.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

2) You can get used to being touched a certain way, and then you will want your woman to touch you like that, because you are used to it. (Same for a woman).

3) The goal during masturbation is usually to get off as quickly as possible. That does NOT help in premature ejaculation, btw.

4) An orgasm from masturbation is not even in the same league (pleasure wise) from receiving one from a woman. It just takes the edge off, so to speak.

Just my take on things.

Sorry, I'm not convinced by your reasons on why you shouldn't masturbate. Even if you have a girlfriend and have sex with her it is great practice and can be used to relieve your sexual tension when she's not in the mood:

Precisely a great reason to masturbate - so you get to know what stimulates yourself sexually.

No, no no. If you are just masturbating for quick relief, it is no different than taking a ****. That is NOT the way to masturbate. Masturbating for long periods of time (30 min- 1hr if time permits) helps you learn how to hold an erection.

Ok, but this is not a reason why you shouldn't masturbate. Also, if you are masturbating correctly and use some of the "techniques" given on www.jackinworld.com you can get a real great orgasm -- not the same as with a woman, but very close. If you're not getting great orgasms when you masturbate, you don't know your body well enough and what gets you "aroused." There are countless variations on hand positions, external objects, places to touch, how to touch, etc, many of which I never even thought of until I checked out that site. Even to guys who have a lot of sex and think they know what turns them on have alot to learn from that website. Seriously. It really opened doors for me and I discovered many new ways which arouse myself sexually other than the good ol' up and down stroke until it comes out. That gets boring.

As an aside, I recommend trying mutual masturbation with your girlfriend. Just sit there and watch each other get off. Or alternatively have her jerk you off and you finger her. Women love this and plus you don't have to worry about STD's if you do it right.

If you take the time to really go through that website (especially the FAQ and library) it will really benefit your sex life by allowing you to have better sex when the time comes. If you think it won't help you're are missing out on better and more varied ways to achieve orgasm and so is your girlfriend. It is my firm belief that the best sex is had with two partners who know themselves sexually. Every guy masturbates, even if you have a girlfriend, so lets just face this and stop saying masturbation is for losers. All guys do it, even guys who have lots of sex! (Check out the famed Kinsey Reports also) And if you're going to do it, you might as well learn to do it for maximum pleasure.

I think you have a valid point tonight. But I think that can be achieved through "normal" masturbation without making it a science or sport.

Some of the things suggested on that site were just plain sick.

I think that as DJ's working towards becoming better with women we have better things to do and more productive ways to spend our time than trying out new masturbation techniques and positions.

Just things from my perspective. I'm sure there is some valuable information on that site for someone (but not me).

I do agree though that not masturbating DEFINITELY gives you more motivation to get a girl, and lately I've been channeling my energy gained from not masturbating into improving my DJ skills. Masturbation is GOOD for you.

1. It helps keep the pipes primed and keep your equipment in good working order.

as you can see there are alot more pros than there are cons. true...if you dont do it for a while you do have a much easer time approching girls however you will carry alot of stress on your back that may lead to heart attacks or strokes in the long future. so in concloshion not masterbating should be a tecqunie only used if u need an extra boost aproching a girl.and studdys show that having intercourse 2 much weekens the boddy.

ps: if being desprate is the only thing that's making you approch girls do not consider yourself a true dj.

I agree with that. Over the past year or so I have fought trying to not do it. The longest I lasted was 1 month during that month I did not have a wet dream.
