Sometime girls just amaze me
So my girlfriend was out with her friend last night and I was out with mine. We met up later and she is telling me how this guy was hitting on her and her friend yap yap yap. Doesn't bother me as she gets hit on all the time and its no big deal.
Find out today that this guy has been hassling her a lot (it's a bar that both of us live by that we go to all the time). Trying to get her to cheat on me and apparently last night grabbed her ass causing her and her friend to leave and meet up with me. Funny thing is when I am there with her he never even comes close to trying this **** with her. So I told her that it didn't bother me if he hit on her but if he keeps grabbing her that I am going to get involved and that I wouldn't want to fight but if he forced me I would. Of course she twists my words into how she can't believe I would go looking for a fight or that this guy would cause one. (fyi: this guy is facing murder 2 charges for punching a drunk guy at a bar and putting him in a coma). Then I told her that in the past when I have been out with attractive girls guys have pretty much come up and challenged me and tried to hit on them and I have been in a few altercations. Because of this I try to keep myself in control when I am out with her so I am not too drunk to defend myself. She then gets all pissy about how it's stupid I even think that some guy is going to try and fight me in a bar and why would I punch a guy back if he punched me in the face She thinks just because she has never seen a bar fight that somehow that means they don't exist and wont happen to her and that I am being crazy to even semi-prepare myself to defend both of us. Have guys ever run into **** like this where girls are just so anti-fighting that they don't even want you to be prepared? |

people just don't like to bring this up woman even more, truth is most of people will evade a fight by fear of what can happen, not because he can go to jail,
best you can do is don't talk about it with her again, but always stay sharp and ready |

exactly alvafe, you can't talk about fights with women, it only scares them. But in the heat of the moment, if you step up and take care of things, she will then have some passionate sex with you.

Yeah I can see what you're saying. Just seemed so strange that she thought it was so horrible that I was passively prepared whenever we go out.

Just avoid the topic.
Some girls get so overly emotional about violence, it's near impossible talking about "what you would do" if-so-and-so occurred. Usually girls from middle class families who never saw violence in real life. They have no idea how a conflict escalates to the point of violence or how to prevent further escalation. To them it's an impossibility. They don't understand that in a lot of cases you, as a male, have to make clear that you are not to be messed with in order to prevent further escalation. And it's not just violence they don't understand, but agressiveness in general. A few years ago I was having a drink with my (now ex-) GF, when I got pissed off by this couple sitting at a table next to us. It was a holiday, so the place was extra crowded. So I see this couple order a few snacks. The waiter places their order and goes on to tend other customers while the snacks are being prepared. Not even 5 minutes go by and the guy starts complaining about how long it's taking for them to get their snacks. At first I don't pay attention to it. However, the guy keeps repeating his complaint every effin time the waiter passes his table. As if that wasn't enough, after ten minutes this guy literally starts cursing at the waiter, calling him every disgraceful name he could think of! The waiter (about 17 y/o) doesn't say a word, and tries to stay as polite as possible. He tries to get the guy to calm down, by saying he'll tell the chef to hurry up, but the guy just doesn't stop the name calling. It started getting on my nerves, so I straight up told the guy to leave the waiter alone, wait for his snack or else GTFO. After that it was like I pressed the mute button on this guy. Not a word. Later, on my way home, my gf started telling me how I was rude and should never do anything like that. Asking me why I needed to be so "agressive". And that she felt like she couldn't trust me and I'm supposed to be a nice guy. ![]() |

Most women will never admit this, but they will tell you to not be aggressive when it comes to defending them or what you did in your case, keep the peace. Deep down though, they really appreciate it. Let her have her girly moment or you can even respond in a better way and ask her, "Would you like me more if you had to take care of me all of the time and I just whined? I'm pretty sure that's an astounding no." Ask her that, she'll look down and be like, "Yeah you're right." |

nah he is a broke, jobless drug addict. He hangs around that bar all day long and preys on every girl. Also, he's black and she isn't into black dudes. The reason this was so incredulous is that I have had to get in confrontation with guys before that couldn't get the hint she wasn't into them and she liked it. I think it's just one of those things that previous posters says that she doesn't want to have to verbalize it and wants to say the "politically" correct thing while secretly still wanting me to step up |

Put yourself first.
Women want James Bond. They just don't want you to become James Bond. Case closed.
