In a word: compliance. As another poster has said, keep escalating, and she'll tell you through her actions how far she is prepared to go along with being seduced.

Other than that, chances of 1st date sex go up if:

-You go out for drinks rather than any other date idea, especially if she is a little tipsy and her inhibitions lowered.
-You get the first makeout during the date itself.
