The story of cerebral palsy athlete Craig Koonce
Hmmm him being born only weighing 1 lb frail and having cerebral palsy didn't stop him from hitting the gym. He's honestly more built than a lot of people I see complaining about their genetics or not having enough time to lift or <insert whatever other excuse here). Pretty funny. Oh **** he was using machines too so not functional!!!!
oops would be good if I added the vid haha http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9BETW...layer_embedded

F***king awesome videos! These guys are real bada**es who didn't let anything hold them back. They are real examples of what hard work and dedication in the face of adversity will get you.

Have another one for you guys....
The award winning and nationally broadcast documentary about Ray Taylor and his natural bodybuilding friend, Sebastian MacLean. When at age 50 Ray discovers that he is going blind, he is challenged by Sebastian to begin a journey of physical and emotional transformation. Facing Goliath follows Ray as he changes from a 232lb couch Potatoe into a competetive bodybuilder. Competing in the world of bodybuilding together, Ray and Sebastian both discover what it means to face challenges that at first seem too big to handle. By facing giant challenges, these men find that a little faith and heart can change everything. (full length movie) 47 minutes long .... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gijdy...layer_embedded Also there's been some hate for bodybuilders on this forum. Seriously who wouldn't want to look like something close to Sebastian's physique?! Work of art if you ask me. If any one comments on the "speedos" save it, cause I don't want to hear bs in this thread.

This is a small fvcking world!!! I saw this dude and the bus he was getting off, i was like "wait a minute..." Then i heard him say "Delaware" And that's all i needed to hear. I used to live in the same neighborhood as this guy. It was an apartment/townhouse complex and it had a gym. A little gym with like 6-7 basic machines; dumbbells, and a bunch of treadmills... I say "small world" even more because i was the only person in this gym 90% of the time; and half of the other 10% - it was this guy in there with me! This guy would be in there a good bit.... He always had his little brother with him to help him get on the seats and such... He could only use the bicep curl and tricep extension machines as all the rest were leg machines... but he was pretty d@mn strong... good stuff now, i wish i had talked to him more... which has nothing to do with his disability; it's just - i don't talk to people when working out...
