In a situation that I m a bit confused about I know we got to be patient but I guess there has to be a balance where we cut our losses and focus our attention else where

To cut the long story short.Met this beautiful girl at work,the chat went so well that we met up for coffee at work we spent an hr chattting. Second time I met her up for coffee it was kind of a disaster through no fault of my own. Went to coffee room, two of my bosses were there, they drifted over to the table where my colleague and I were , couldnt change plans as we we agreed to meet there, so when she came in they all went quiet and wierd tried to make her comfy but dont think it worked. to top it off one my pscho boss remembered I had something to do at that very moment -bloody bastard.:cuss:

So since then its been tricky trying to meet up with her coffee.
1st invite: she was like she cant make it but some other time..
2nd invite 2weeks later: get a response 3hrs later saying Sorry she just saw my mail which might be true but I find it hard to believe ...

I think I still need to know her a bit more as going out with someone from same work place is always tricky but at the same time I cant help thinking I m flogging a dead horse here.

What do U guys think?

Something tells me that -

a) SHe has low IL ...or
b) She has been 'spooked' by the events of that time when you and she were joined by the boss.

I would do nothing now. Two invites resulted in such cold responses. IF she wants to see you again she will find a way to let you know.

Just suck this one up .

Crazy idea; set up a date outside of work, where these obstacles will not present themselves. However at this point it might be too late as it seems she's lost interest or it was never as high as you thought it was from the start.

Same rules as always, outside of work. Keep it lite and be aloof. Pretend you have other women on your schedule. IOW, yeah, i have friday.ooops, mean saturday open. sucks to play games, but they are playing you already... just have a good time and distinguish yourself from the others....
