Was at a bar/club tonight in NYC, and end up talking to some porno looking queen(HOT, definitely a 9 on the scale, would've given her a higher number had her hairstyle been a bit different). She approaches me with a "You must be from Canada, so many guys in Canada have long hair, ohhhh, I love it"(hehe, gotta love chick openers when they wanna talk to you). So she starts playing with and fondling my hair. We talk, conversation's flowing perfectly, I'm joking with her, teasing, etc., she's leaning into me touching her body against mine, we make out, going great. Then somewhere in the convo. she asks if I wanna buy her a drink. So I tell her "no", and then I'm like "you wanna buy me a drink?", being sarcastic. She doesn't say anything. She asks why I won't buy her a drink?" I tell her "because she asked" and that "she shouldn't ask someone to buy her a drink". So with a grin on her face, she's like "that's rude". So I'm like "no, it's rude to ask someone to buy you a drink". So we continue the convo., I don't act like I'm annoyed, we just resume talking. So, a minute later, "Are you gonna buy me a drink?" This chick's unbelievable. Again, I'm like "no". She's like "are you kidding with me?" Hahaha. I tell her "no". So she's like "that's so rude, are all Long Island guys like this?" She's like "Most guys buy girls drinks". So I'm like "I'm not like most guys". So she keeps persisting that I buy her a drink, blah blah blah, and finally calls over the waitress implying I'm gonna buy her a drink. You believe this sh*t? Hahaha. So, she gets the old "no" from me again, and so she orders the drink and pays for it herself. So to show her that I'm all nonchalant about the situation, I act the opposite of her and try to show her that the bratty behavior doesn't bother me, and I intervine with "that waiter's cool". No response from her. Doesn't talk to me for the rest of the night. Stands next to me for 5 minutes with her arms crossed and doesn't look my way, hahaha. Eventually she moves away. I don't move, I stay right where I am, and hang around for 15 minutes, and the rest of the night act like I'm having a good time.

To bad it happened the way it did, because goddamn would I have loved to have boned her. 23 yr old Canadian(from Montreal, Quebec), great face, body, and a perfect cleavage shot from the top she was wearing...she had some nice, nice double deckers going.

Well, I have 2 theories here.

1. Either she chatted me up for the sole purpose of getting a free drink(s) out of me

OR

2. She was sincerely turned off that I stood my ground and didn't act like an AFC p*ssy. Afterall, maybe that's what she's looking for and maybe that's what she's attracted to; an AFC boy toy.

flat out rejection often upsets a lot of women. especially over traditional ice breakers like buying a drink.

if you wanted to tap it, you should have bought at least one drink to see where it got you. but at the same time, i'm proud of you for putting a hot chic in her place.

Also I like another guy's idea in this thread where he said you should've set it up so both of you had to buy the other a drink.

That could give the chick what she wanted out of you but also make her work for you.

But I also agree with william in that it sounds like she might have fukked you that night had you bought her a drink or two. Some women are just conditioned to expect you to do SOMETHING for her if she's gonna drop her panties, even if it's a token gesture.

I think the best way to handle a situation like this is not necessarily turn her down straight out, but turn it into a game.

"Alright, I normally don't buy women drinks, but I might be willing to make an exception if I get something in return. So whatcha gonna do for ME?"

Turn it into a game to escalate to sex. If you're slick about it you could be in her panties in two or three moves of your chess piece, and she won't even know what hit her.

I'm pretty sure I've done this before, although I can't recall specifics.

Actually I can......awhile back a few of my friends came back to my house after a night on the town. One asked me to get her a drink or something, and i used it to escalate into a makeout session. Still have yet to seal the deal...but i know it can be done.

All I knew in that moment was, "she had nerve to ask, and kept asking, and got annoyed because I said "no". I wasn't even thinking about turning it into a game. As far as turning it into a game, ehhh, I would say it would come off a little "weak", because basically what I'd be doing is be putting up an ultimatum. Had I turned it into a game the way you described Str8up, right off the bat she would've knew what my intentions were for doing so. She might've played along with the game, but flaked out on me once she got the drink. In other words a "haha, you thought you were gonna bed me, gotcha".

What would've been better in my opinion, is to play it up as "Well what's in it for me? How about I get this round, you get the next?" But still, in doing this, in creating this game, I'm "okaying" her behavior. She's gotta learn(heh, do women ever learn?) not to do this, that it's not okay behavior. That's the big point.

Exactly, and that's what it comes down to; her interest level was low, or perhaps she never had any to begin with and was just interested in getting a drink or two out of me...or maybe she was initially interested, but then it went to low, and figured "eh, but why don't I try to milk him out of a drink."

Who knows, only she does. All I know is, to keep persisting I buy her a drink like that, shows there's either little or no interest at all at that point. Onto the next b*tch.
