Just wondering if anyone has ever heard / seen this movie?? I just downloaded it like last week, it's actually pretty cool. Some interesting things in the movie too, like the main character "John", is a total "DJ". Social proof, he has multiple plate spinning, confidence, also has a ton of charm and some cocky and funny things he says as well. You would think the way he was acting he would be a complete AFC... But, i guess with the confidence mixed in it comes off in an amazing way... Seriously u should pick up the movie sometime. Let me know what else you guys have to say about this movie if you've seen it... post your thoughts.

haven't seen it but this point is GOLD. You can heap compliments on a chick if its done in a non needy, confident fashion. The main problem with a "nice guy" is not the niceness but the lack of confidence and a sexual nature.

Amen to that!

That's probably why most of the guys who are always stuck in the friend zone are known as AFC! How they can fix this. Is finally getting laid, or if out of the game too long, get a friend close friends to hook you up, boost your confidence, and take it from there.

I figured it would only be a matter of time before someone brought up that movie here.

Yeah, I saw it. I particularly enjoyed how the guy was DJ'ing and how the movie, disguised as a chick flick, blatently slammed women for being conniving and diabolical b!tches that play ridiculous games and employ obnoxious schemes. And, for all their meddling, the guy always came out as a DJ, or even more of a DJ. All their messing around backfired.

When I had to see it, I was initially thinking: "Aww crap. Here we go with another man-bashing high-school chick movie." I was pleasantly suprised. I could've done without the sappy "love" plotline, but all-in-all, it wasn't as bad as I expected.

It was a chick flick, but I don't have a problem with chick flicks....as long as the chicks are hot. haha!

I'm watching it right now, and he is entirely AFC

-I mean, calling girls 5 times in a row.
-Circling houses
-appearing needy and try-hard.

We have to remember its just a movie. I used to get so screwed watching these fictional mack-characters on t.v....

However, he does have a lot of good characteristics, in particular his Confidence.

So, this is very much possible, but only b/c he was the captain of the team, had flawless looks, was majorly pre-selected, and was the top of the social ladder. So the coolest guy in the school buys a girl a heap of flowers she would be flattered. But if the average Joe does it, it comes off as needy.
