IOI Question For Mystery Method PUAs

OK, I've been learning some Mystery Method from a pua. I don't know a lot about it, but I am reading up. Right now, I'm learning about how to read IOI's (indicators of interest).

One question: is it an IOI if a girl leans in and starts talking/whispering in your ear every time? She's not touching me per se (one IOI) but it feels like an IOI to me. Is this right?

Mystery lists them in his book, VAH, that you can buy on his website. It only costs a few dollars.

It's very handy to have for other reasons

OK, now what if a girl looks at you over her shoulder, but right past you. Like I was at a bookstore and this girl kept looking directly at me over her shoulder, but she was acting like she was looking for someone or something just behind me.

This sometimes happens at the bar too. I've always ignored it, thinking it was insignificant. Is this an IOI also?
