Guys who befriend women platonically

Just disgust me really. Why would you want to deal with women unless you are banging them? No offense to anyone here but I can never wrap my head around all these guys with large groups of girl friends that they aren't banging. I'm sure there can be certain benefits such as being hooked up with their friends but the whole thing just screams feminine energy to me.

Could you imagine a character out of an old Clint Eastwood movie for example that is pretty much the epitome of a mans man having female friends he doesn't bang. Its just completely anti masculine and IMO passive behavior because if the girls are attractive of course the guys really want to bang them but keep them as friends as some sort of hopeful wishful thinking.

I have a couple girl friends that I don't bang. I did at one time, but I'm no longer interested. I can't say the same for them, lol.

Your question is why do I bother?

Because they are cool. When I need something like an apt cleaning, connections to business associates they may be in contact with, favors, etc., they are there surprisingly more available than my male friends. Plus they are fun to hang out and bull**** with.

Nothing wrong with female friends as long as it is she--not you--who is the orbiter.

I've got one really good female friend, we do on the odd occasion hook up but she's an attention *****, and we both know what each other is like. Shes got a ton of beta orbiters, i hook up with anything with three holes. She's a lot of fun to drink with and goof around and as I say if the mood hits we hook up.

We would be completely uncompatable in a relationship but I enjoy her company, so..

You are silly or young.

Sometimes you just get tired ... with ****ing ... with 'gaming' with stupid games ... what people think about you.Sometimes you just want to chill out.Talk,socialize,laugh,chat that's it.

Some women are funny and or even have sense of humour, believe or not.

And men ? MEN ? Most of them are beta shumcks or wanna be alphas who try to put you down to feel better or envy you your money or your success.Countless maginas or white knights, who fake your friends and the same trying to steal your gf, they make you sick.

Quality men to socialize are as hard to find as quality women.Sometimes I prefer silly women at least they are harmless most of the time if you don't fall into their games.

There are women out there who are a ton of fun to hang out with - witty, great to joke around with, at times insightful, some even sexually objectify other women along with you, overall fantastic personalities. In fact, calling them out on their bullsh1t (i.e. emotional emesis) is even easier when you have them locked in the friend zone. If you're not secretly pining for any of them all while remaining to be a man, then there's nothing wrong with having a female friend or two or five hundred.

I don't have many close male friends. I find that they're extremely flaky and unreliable. My female orbiters? They're very reliable and I can count on them when I need them for something. I'm also able to relate to women much better than men because I don't spend my time watching sporting events, playing video games, or drinking lots of beer.

I just don't see the value of being friends with them.....I only care about banging them. Guys are more straight forward and easier to deal with. For me its very strange to be with a woman abd no sex or romance type stuff happens. Most of them are just too catty.....one of my exes is the only one I could be friends with besides my sister, but the problem is I would want to bang her so forget about that.

I kinda like being friends with females, at least to an extent. They're mainly useful when you're hanging out with multiple people together. I can't readily think of any female friends whom I've hung out with one-on-one. The fact that you're in a group also helps keep you from being tempted to have sex with them.

I had a mate at college who shared zinc's same attitude - his exact words I seem to recall being, 'I'm not friends with girls I don't wanna f*ck'. Fair enough.

I have female friends, though socialise with them more rarely than I do guys. The dynamic, humour and commonality of interests simply aren't the same.

Knowing how to talk to and entertain women is a useful skill however, like when it comes time to socialise with their social circles - her peers will be providing her with feedback, if that bothers you.

There is good chance that female friends have other freinds/colleagues/relatives that you certainly DO wanna have your way. Wow, I have definitely been with some fine broads in this manner.

Interesting responses, its just impossible for me to be friends with an attractive chick because I would always try to bang her and either succeed or fail...if fail, next. I do enjoy talking to them from time to time, but only when they are at least my sex friends...

IMO, men and women are built to mate with each other and nothing else. Pure friendship is unnatural.

OP, you probably have no idea how great a platonic girl friend can be at being your wingman.

I have a friend who got married last year, she and I are really good life long friends. I met up with her and her friends out at the bars one night recently, and she introduced me to her friend Shannon. I barely had to put in any work at all, because my friend had put in such a good word for me before I met up with them.

I hooked up with her that night, it was glorious.

I have multiple. Typically when they get super comfortable with you , they actually help your game. You see them doing things that other women trying to impress you won't do , example I was having lunch with one female friend and she burped accidently and to me it was funny as hell because on a date she woulda lost me right there.
Then is the dynamic of getting better at conversation with the opposite sex , you learn alot of things from them. Typically they will have hit friends too , they will wonder why SHE is so hooked on your friendship .. a little rivalry and bam you are in your way to banging both of them.

You are absolutely correct. Men and women cannot be bona fide friends. For a male/female friendship to endure, at least one party must desire the other.

But this doesn't stop my having female friends.

Actually, I have more women friends than guys and I talk to them a lot but I'm also banging every one of them. You don't need plutonic girl friends to get better at talking to women or get hooked up. You just need to try to bang every attractive woman that you can.

Platonic women friends are great because you can actually get a chance to see what goes on in their heads. It helps your game and your confidence around women. I have a few friends that are chicks that are easy 8s, I don't get with them because we've been close for a few years its almost a brother/sister relationship.
