As for the blue squares, mine are definitely blue. I had a friend confirm this for me today.

I just guess we'll never know the true answer surrounding the mystery of the blue/grey/black/whatever fvcking color they are squares. Like so many unknowns, we just have to to accept the fact that we can't always expect to find out the truth just because we demand it.

Sometimes in life, we just have to learn to accept things the way they are.

I have a green one and it says i will become famous soon enough. Thats fine by me because i would like to be famous one day.

I've gotten lots of blue squares. I'm 90% sure they are the following:

A user has too low reputation (not red, but just low) so when he reps you and the disparity between you two is too great it actually doesn't move your points at all despite being a positive rep. So instead of getting a green rep, you get a blue rep.

Usually when I get blue reps, it is from a new user with less than 50 posts.

ArcBound, that was my thinking. But what I found odd, is 1) mine are all circles and not squares, and 2) there are green and grey. Nothing close to blue.

Do you guys actually have squares, and not circles? Is it possible I failed preschool and I'm an idiot? A circle is the round one, right??

You probably just were never repped by a person with 0 reps so you never got a blue jewel.

Also yours look like circles because at he bottom left corner of the screen there is a style chooser and you choose a style that represents reputation as circles, the other ones show squares/rectangles.

Dude if someone with zero rep power sends you rep (doesn't matter if it's positive or negative) then you'll get a blue square. Problem solved?
