Yesterday I got a gym membership deal with my workplace. I went by the gym after work. This will be the first time going to the gym and lifting in general. I met a guy there and he told me to lift light weights until I get comfortable.
For the dumbbells I did 25lb with no problems.
30lb I got tired at the 7th lift.
For the bench press I did 130lb no problems but I didn't push any further because I didn't have a gym buddy to spot.
Right now I stand at 6"3 and at 220lb , fairly normal size but want to get my chest and biceps bigger. My legs and thighs are HUGE due to playing competitive sports my whole life. I just need advice on which exercise to do in order to get some gains on the bicep and chest area & how many days I should work on these areas.
Pictures or videos will be helpful since I don't know my way around the gym yet.
