The feeling after sex tends to make me more confident and women seem to pick up on that. If you beat off and watch porn too much it will skew your expectations of real women and sex as well as diminish your desire to meet women, so that when you do actually have the chance to get laid you might not even get aroused (or be able to). My 2 cents: fap only once a week without porn only after you have made some sort of attempt to approach women throughout the week.

It made me depressed. I try now not to fap at all.

At the end of the day you'll still want puss and porn isn't a good substitute. You'll still want companionship and sex even if porn gives you the best orgasm.
