How is it race baiting to talk about real current events? lol. Ive made no hateful remarks, or cast judgement on any race of people here. Im discussing issues in policing.

If the mods allow discussion of these topics, I will partake. If they disallow discussion in the future, I will follow such rules. Simple.

My issue with past moderation has not been that racial discussions exist, so much as that racist language has been tolerated. And a well known troll was banned not long ago for his consistent trolling and racist behavior. So the tide has turned...especially now that there seems to be a rather even keeled moderation approach now.

Also, there's a big difference between discussion of current events, and inflammatory racist language.

The main point of my OP is that Im not surprised that yet another officer and PD has gotten jammed up in racist mess. And I definitely forsee sweeping reforms over the next several years as more cops and PDs get themselves in trouble over this stuff.

As I said, we are in a new tech age where nothing can be hidden anymore. And if you are in a position of authority, you have to be on your best behavior and be of high character.

As much as I believe any kind of discrimination is wrong, you aint gonna get any sympathy from me jaylan, racism to you exists only when it damages your people (blacks and women).

Never read you bashing discrimination when it works against whites and men, instead you bash those pointing it out.

That said, the american sporting climate is much safer than rivalries in south america or parts of europe. Serious fights and injuries are more common...aand fan segregation at events is a must in many countries. We don't have to sit rival fans apart all the time here in the states.

But no one says they can't be police officer and that they're biased in conducting their duties. On the contrary, they are actively recruited.

I want any texts by any female, non-white or white officer that contain anything derogatory or defamatory about males or whites investigated for bias. Terms like "white trash", "redneck" are racist. Criticizing "White privilege" is offensive and shows bias. Texts that call males sexist and whites "racist" without proof is defamation and shows bias and was never protected speech even when we still had free speech.

I know these texts exist or this speech openly exist. Why are some groups allowed free speech and others aren't? That's not constitutional.

If that's the case then most all women, blacks, liberals and others have no place in position of authority including in the police force. I disagree because just suspicion someone will act on suspected or actual bias is how the left labels males and whites and conservatives in general unsuitable for employment. One has to define racist and sexist. Is nature and reality racist/sexist by the definition of some? If the definition is thinking or saying even in private anything negative about males/females or any racial group, or holding more positive thoughts about males or another racial group, then I disagree completely. No one should treat anyone unfairly or unlawfully discriminate, but it's within everyone's right including in the workforce to hold beliefs and to have free speech.

It's in poor taste and inappropriate to some degree while on the clock to make crude jokes and talk about religion, politics, sex and gender and race or to criticize others in general, but that's all it is. Unless you have people talking about actually acting on bias or unlawfully discriminating, then what we have is nothing unusual in a free society. The biggest problem we have in employment is people bearing false witness and accusation against their coworkers which this kind of seems to be more about, falsely/baselesly accusing employees of acting on bias.

Liberals and females fail horribly at not treating groups unfairly and not unlawfully discriminating and they are not only allowed to but are actively recruited and promoted.

I am white but I am also a [legal] immigrant. When I moved here with my parents, I had to learn a new language, adapt to a new country and work hard to get to where I am today. When I hear some North-American born, native English speaker "minority" complain about being underprivileged, I feel very little sympathy.

Why would I want that? When have I ever said I value a homogeneous society.

As someone that grew up in a large diverse metropolis, I very much value the different sub cultures that exist in our society. I enjoy the differing flavors of our American cultural stew. I enjoy the type of American that is accepting of the differences in backgrounds that make up our society.

When you say "whites are so oppressive", youre making a generalization based of a misinterpretation of my beliefs. There are a large number of whites who dont play into the discriminatory bullsh!t regarding, race, sex, gender, orientation, religion, etc. Any person I speak to in person who has a prejudiced attitude is rebuked regardless of what their background is.

I dont deal with that bs. I want a society that's welcoming of all good and accepting people...regardless of their background. The people who want America to go back in time, or who arent accepting of others based on race, religion, sexual orientation, etc...those are the people who can go create their like-minded, homogeneous, echo-chamber society if they see fit.

The problem is when just the racial aspects of the corruption is reported, and re-reported over and over again without acknowledging the various other problems within the departments, it further segregates the masses. Case in point, the only cop charged with murder in Baltimore is black. That and the fact that only three of the six charged were white puts a damper on the dogma of it's as simple as a white/black thing. But that's not garnering as many headlines or as many re-reporting of the story. It just not as polarizing when reporting that its a mixed group of cops.

The problem is that the masses is allowing the media to pull their strings and not recognize that it isn't a racial problem, it's primarily a geographic problem based on class. Police departments within neighborhoods which are considered poor tend to over-police regardless of the predominant makeup of race within the area, but that's not going to come to light as long as people continue to weaken their position by dividing within their own ranks.

So over the course of damn near six months this dumb f*ck has said that I a "history posting certain material," but in those six months I have a total of 2 threads where the topic is race, and the Hella Submissive Chick Kisses Dudes' Boots in Public is more a about a dumb b*tch than it is about race and 22 replies in race related threads versus the plethora white supremacist bullsh*t that seems to dominate this board on a daily f*cking basis. Simply put, certain individuals need to be banned from this forum and if that move was taken, this site would be a better place.
