response to a girl that sends a pic?

So, I'm still learning this stuff and this might sound like a pretty dumb question...

Met this girl online (30). Got her number. Gave her a ring 2 days later. Talked to her for about 20 minutes. Conversation was good, kept it light/playful then setup a date.

At end of conversation she says "send me a picture so I can use it for your contact picture"

I try texting her a pic and she replies saying how she couldn't view it on her phone. I then told her "let me guess...2003 blackberry? Time to upgrade your phone!"

she responds with "lol Send it to my email please"
I send it the next day.

She then texts me that she got it. I don't respond. Then a few hours later she sends a pic of herself asking "do you like this one?" She looks fly as hell...

I was going to simply respond with "nice" but, was also thinking of sending this:

"Nice -almost as good as mine!"

Only reason I ask is because I don't want to fall back into my nice guy ways and don't want to give over the control. Or am I thinking too much into this crap?

Thoughts?

You're on the right path with teasing her but I wouldn't recommend your choosen comment.

Maybe something like "I can work with that!!"??

IMHO, giving her some validation isn't bad if it is a pump and dump situation, and may even be ok longer term. It's not as though liking her makes you weaker.

I use the phrase "l like that" a lot. I believe it's effective because when I don't say it, the opposite is implied: "thanks for the pic".

Compliments are fine, and I think more than justified. But avoid anything sexual in nature until you have had sex with her. "Cute face!" is an example. It's a genuine, honest compliment that cannot possibly come across as desperate or creepy. It gives validation without backfiring. And it lets the girl still wonder if you think she is sexy.

whatever OP. You're overthinking. Find more women to date and you won't have to analyze stuff quite this thorougly.
