Cassanova - Nice one A qualifying tip -- Put the phrase, in big, block letters, in places that only you will see it. On the back of your closet door, on your favorite bookmark, on a card in your wallet. Always see it now and then and repeat it in your head.. Nothing I can't handle... Gio, I'm way ahead of you on this one. Been saying that for years.
I hate people acting like it's not humanly possible for me to do the things I want to do. I always tell people that if there's something I want to accomplish, I will accomplish it. People ask you those kinds of questions because they have doubts about themselves, and they're trying to understand how you could have the balls to think you could do what they can't. Okay, everyone seems to want more simple mantras to use.
Here's another one for you. "Great." Enthusiastically. So simple, so effective. When do you use it? Whenever anyone asks you how you are. Her: How are you? You: Great. Always. Whether you're great or not. Another example. Her: How's everything going? You: Great. Nobody cares about your problems. When you smile, the world smiles with you, when you cry, you cry alone. If you're great, people want to be around you. If you're not, get lost loser. It's just the way of the world. But perhaps the "great" works best when things AREN'T great. For example, right now I'm just getting over a head cold/sinus problem. I feel kind of crappy, and I don't sound so great either. I'm at work and pass a cute girl in the hall, who I know only in passing. Her: How are you today? Me (smiling): Great. Her (laughing): You don't SOUND great. Sinus problems?
