Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

I have used this one many times.
If they persist, say "I have a rule that I never buy women drinks in bars."

REPLYING AS Mr. AFC: Gee, she asked me to buy her a drink - obviously because she thinks I'm HOT! Maybe if I buy her a drink, I can hook up with her later. After all, aren't I entitled to her services if I buy her a drink? Logic dictates that If I buy her TWO drinks, then she'll pleasure me for TWICE as long! Here you go, bartender, my hard-earned cash! Get this lady another daiquiri! This is just like in the movies. Not only does buying her a drink make for certain that I'll get laid, but it also shows her that I am a nice guy that will do whatever she asks me to do for her, and women just LOVE that. Don't they? After all, nice guys finish first in the movies. On top of THAT, I feel all powerful when I buy her a drink - it's like I'm showing her that I can take care of her. Women like a man they can depend on. Shouldn't they?

I would also use "maybe later if I haven't found someone else that's actually worth my time" if I wanted to be a little bit of a prick.

I was out lastnight and I witnessed one of my brothers friends get asked "will you buy me a drink?". He immediately said "sure" got her and her friend a drink and as soon as he turned around they walked away.

All of these are really good. I've heard the "no, but you can buy me one" response many times. I especially like the Magic 8-ball response and the "Blow me" response. Anything ****y and funny, although I'm not sure I'd have the balls to ask if she'd blow me. I live in a small town and word about that would get around too quickly. If I was far enough out of town, maybe...
My favorite response I've used is, "Yes...if you'll buy me one first!" If she bites, you know you're guaranteed some interest level and two drinks worth of time from her. And it doesn't come off as too arrogant.
