Addressing the income gap

As usual this weekend another cute social worker/grad student/school teacher wound up in my bed. She's a fun girl and I'm going to keep seeing her (and my other two plates ) As previously discussed here it seems like more and more women are in low paying careers. As for me I'm making ~100k at a good job with a big company. I'm stable and manage my money very well. I don't want to be footing the bill 100% of the time but my very small inner AFC Captain-Save-A-Ho sometimes convinces me to "treat" her more often than I should. Part of me feels like this is just the cost of dating a 24 year old.

My brain says I should just talk about it and get us on the same page but we all know how women respond to logic clearly explained to them from a man

How do you address a large income gap between you and your plates or girlfriends?

i address it by not talking about it lol.

the way I see it the longer i can go without talking about how mjuch money I have/ make the more i can weed out potential 100% true to the game golddiggers. Plus in real life, i'm actually.. I'm not what you would call a flashy person, I don't like talking about. okay let me stop lying i do like talking about myself lol, but i don't like going out of my way to talk about myself. Plus the way I see it if how much i amke is on the topic in our first 2-3 dates, im' a ****ty date lol if that's all i can talk about.

of all the women i have dated there have only been 2 women who have known how much i have and that's my wife and my GF I dated for a year. that really is some need to know stuff.

as far as paying for stuff, meh it doesn't bother me one way. I just assume for practical reasons I am paying and I am pleasantly surprised when i don't have to.

I feel you BB but I'm not talking about showing them a pay stub or wearing a $2000 watch, I'm talking about lifestyle. I drive a 9 year old truck and wear thrift store clothes but I own a house in the good part of town and in it are pictures of me taken all over the world. It's just part of who I am, I'm not bragging about it to her but its obvious that I'm doing a'ight for my self.

I hate to bump my own post but do really none of you guys spinning plates manage how much $$ you're dropping on these broads?

It's just part of who I am, I'm not bragging about it to her but its obvious that I'm doing a'ight for my self.".....You could be talking about me,I drive an old Ford Wagon,never wear designer gear,live in a 1.5 million home,backpack somewhere interesting six weeks a year.....Never had problems finding Women...Few months ago one of my very casual plates,offered me to be her Toy Boy on a 17 Week World Cruise....I laughed at her!

Never ever discuss it directly. Only through your actions and oblique communication can you impress your intentions upon a woman.

I've dated a lot of students without much income. I managed to not waste a lot of money the following ways:

1) Never do anything with them that I wouldn't do myself or with my buddies.
2) I never expected them to pay for anything
3) They were never allowed to sleep over after sex. I had a ready made excuse why they had to leave by midnight or so. Come up with your own believable story.
4) All dates were initiated and planned by me. Most of them were her coming over, me cooking dinner, watching a DVD, sex, and her leaving.
5) If she ever called and suggested a date and DIDN'T pay, it was immediately over.

On oblique communication:

One thing I've found works pretty well is telling her a "story" about a "friend" early on (it works best as a screening tool before sex).

Something like this:

I just talked to my friend. He's pretty bummed. He was dating this girl, and she started to get comfortable with his money. See, he makes a lot more than she does, and he started to feel that she felt she was "entitled" to his money, either on dates or whatever. He had no choice but to break up with her. I asked him why he didn't cut her some slack, but he said that it took him a long time to make that kind of money, and he's got big plans for his future. He said he just couldn't waste his time with a girl that couldn't understand that. I can see where he's coming from.


That will put the idea in her head that if she starts expecting things, she's on thin ice.
