    Prostate Cancer is Male Privilege?

Remove "prostate caner" and "men" and insert "breast cancer" and "women" and this site is shut down within an hour.

    Men who don't like sports

I'm guilty as charged here, but use those statistics for gambling purposes to make some money on the side.

    Men who don't like sports

My one friend does nut hug athletes hard core, he always wants to go to bars that athletes frequent. His reasoning being "How cool would it be to drink with (random athlete)?!"

    Men who don't like sports

Eh, extreme examples, the average joe isn't having heart attacks and neglecting his children because of a sporting event.

    Men who don't like sports

Right, either way it is competition, ask the guys at the games if they don't get pumped up to watch their team in a big game. This thread seems to assume everyone who enjoys sports does so from the safety of their own living room, which isn't true at all.

    Men who don't like sports

Nothing wrong with not liking sports, I question any man who doesn't enjoy and partake in something competitive though, sports are just a common way for the competitive side to come out. Let's be honest, it isn't THAT time consuming. Most people only seriously follow one or two sports, and it...

    Questions for the Americans here.

Been to the hospital 5-6 times in my life for minor broken bones and stitches, never had to wait more than 20 minutes. But healthcare is big business in Pittsburgh, so we have tons of hospitals.

What can I do with a Marketing Degree?

Do you have any professional experience, internships? In general I'd probably go after a contract type job (preferably contract to hire), since those seem to be the only kind that are willing to hire recent grads with little experience. Definitely highlight any applicable experience, I just...

    Questions for the Americans here.

Sounds like most of the midwest. I do remember the downtown portion of Toronto not being extremely interesting. Besides the fact they had a Chinatown area it reminded me of Columbus.

Sausage Fests: Why You Can't Avoid 'Em

Your probably right, was just having a discussion with a buddy about how we never seeing any girl we knew from high school out and about, but we see tons of guys from high school no matter where we go.

Sausage Fests: Why You Can't Avoid 'Em

Nice, it is a good area (it's cheap as hell to live here), but I feel bad for anyone trying to get a meaningful job, especially just out of college.

    Questions for the Americans here.

I've never noticed a difference between where I live, Pittsburgh, and the places I've been in Canada; mainly Hamilton, Niagara, Toronto areas, except that the geography is much flatter.

Sausage Fests: Why You Can't Avoid 'Em

Where in PA are you located, if you don't mind me asking. I'm in Pittsburgh, and the job market sucks for recent grads, as does the population of eligible young women, no matter when I go I can't find them.

Sausage Fests: Why You Can't Avoid 'Em

It sucks, but you are right, most semi attractive women have their stash of orbiters/prospects already lined up, they aren't receptive to new ones unless the guy really stands out from the crowd, ie he is a better option than anyone she currently has on call. It is a scenario in which both...

    College

Agree with this for sure; engineering, math, computer science, and medicine other than that you'd be better off getting a few years in at a junior college, then get some work experience or transfer to a more prestigious school to finish your bachelors. I have an economics/math degree, and...

    Stop The Self Improvement

What is your height/weight/bodyfat, AtomicDog, if you don't mind me asking? And where are you trying to get to?

    Stop The Self Improvement

Absolutely, I don't even do the gym so much, but I do spriting/bodyweight stuff, and play a couple of sports. Especially in the summer I don't have time for the gym, would rather be outside running steps or playing a pickup game of hockey. But it is different for everyone.

    Stop The Self Improvement

I agree, but it something that will make a tangible difference in your life in short period of time, and is something that most guys who visit this site can improve immediately. Although most probably won't stick with it in the long run. We all know there is no such thing as a cure all.

    Stop The Self Improvement

If you're trying to be an actual bodybuilder, then yea there is a ton to do with genetics. If you are trying to gain 15 lbs and gain muscle definition, and you can't, you are probably doing something wrong. Lifting helps with sports/mental health/energy as well as physical appearance. If...

    Stop The Self Improvement

To the OP, I agree with a lot and disagree with a lot, seems a little too personal, as in too specific to your likes and needs. This was the best part of the whole thing.
